Harmony just found a new way to mint $4B out of thin air. 💀

Harmony Protocol cho biết khoảng 4 tỷ $ONE đã bị mint trái phép, tương đương khoảng 26% nguồn cung hiện tại.

Đáng chú ý, khoảng 2.8 tỷ ONE đã được chuyển lên các sàn, tạo áp lực bán mạnh và khiến giá $ONE lao dốc.

Theo phân tích on-chain, attacker đã khai thác lỗ hổng trong cơ chế xác minh supply, khiến totalSupply không phản ánh kịp lượng token mới được tạo.

Harmony hiện đang làm việc với các sàn để đóng băng số tiền liên quan, đồng thời đánh giá các phương án khắc phục và khả năng rollback.

Mình thấy đây là một reminder cực rõ: smart contract có thể chạy đúng như code, nhưng nếu logic xác minh supply sai thì cả tokenomics có thể bị phá trong vài giờ.

CPI US tháng 7 sẽ được công bố tối nay, và thị trường đang chờ xem Fed có thêm lý do để nới lỏng vào tháng 9 hay không.

Kỳ vọng hiện tại:
CPI: 3.4% YoY / +0.1% MoM
Core CPI: 2.5% YoY / +0.2% MoM

Trên Kalshi, thị trường còn thận trọng hơn: xác suất CPI vượt 3.4% chỉ khoảng 15%, trong khi Core CPI vượt 2.5% chỉ khoảng 11%.

Nếu CPI thấp hoặc đúng kỳ vọng → risk assets có thể thở phào.

Nếu CPI nóng hơn dự kiến → USD + yields có thể bật lên và crypto lại có một buổi tối rất bận rộn. 💀

Mình nghĩ hôm nay không phải ngày để cố đoán từng con số. Quan trọng hơn là thị trường phản ứng thế nào sau khi dữ liệu được công bố.

Theo Arkham, các ví liên quan đến Alameda Research vừa chuyển tổng cộng $8.25M SOL qua 24 giao dịch vào ví lưu ký BitGo, được cho là để phục vụ việc phân bổ bồi thường cho các chủ nợ FTX.

Đáng chú ý, Alameda vẫn còn nắm giữ hơn $200M SOL.

Bridge hack season really said: “I’m not done yet.”

Coreum’s cross-chain XRP Ledger bridge bị exploit ngày 9/8, hacker lợi dụng lỗi trong cơ chế xác minh deposit.

Trong khoảng 97 phút, attacker thực hiện 94 giao dịch và rút khoảng 199,916 (~$200K) khỏi bridge.

Điểm đáng chú ý: XRPL itself was not hacked, private keys cũng không bị lộ. Hacker giả mạo deposit để hệ thống bridge tưởng rằng tiền đã được gửi thật, rồi kích hoạt withdrawal ở chain bên kia.

Và giờ còn một chi tiết khá sus: tài khoản X chính thức của Coreum,

, cũng đang bị suspended.

Mình thấy đây chính là điểm yếu chí mạng của bridge: blockchain bên dưới có thể vẫn an toàn, nhưng chỉ cần lớp verification tin nhầm một deposit giả là tiền ở chain bên kia có thể biến mất.

Bridge: “Deposit confirmed.”

Hacker: “Thanks for confirming.”

Another bridge, another exploit… and now the official X account is suspended too. What is going on?
