CPI is on Friday.
But the number itself isn't the only thing I'm watching.
The real question is: where does $BTC take liquidity when volatility hits?
High-impact news can create fast moves, sweep obvious highs/lows, and then reveal the actual direction.
So instead of predicting “CPI bullish” or “CPI bearish”, I'm watching the reaction:
• Which side of liquidity gets swept first?
• Does price show real displacement?
• Do we get a clean MSS after the sweep?
• Is there an FVG retracement for confirmation?
My approach is simple:
Liquidity sweep → Displacement → MSS → FVG retracement → Target opposing liquidity
If Friday creates volatility but there's no confirmation, I wouldn't chase the first move.
The first candle after CPI can trap both bulls and bears. The reaction around key liquidity is what matters more to me.
No confirmation = no trade.
