Tria integrates Arc: USDC gains more use cases
Tria’s official blog announced support for Arc on October 22; the announcement distributed by Chainwire is dated October 23. The integration follows Circle’s launch of the Arc mainnet on September 16.
According to Tria, the feature lets users send, receive, and hold USDC on Arc, convert between supported networks, top up their card, and fund supported trading accounts. It is available on web and mobile.
The app brings these steps together; routes, processing times, and fees depend on each transaction.
Before depositing, verify the asset, address, and withdrawal network. A matching address alone is not enough. For conversions and top-ups, Tria advises checking the expected amount, fees, and transaction status; processing may take longer than an internal transfer.
Arc charges network fees in USDC, according to Circle. These fees are separate from any fees that may apply to a conversion or service.
As a market reference, Binance showed USDC/USDT at 1.00119, up 0.015% over 24 hours as of 10/24, 18:56 UTC. This is a quote between two stablecoins, not the price of a bank exchange.
My take: expanding the ways USDC can be used may reduce the number of steps for users. The announcement alone does not demonstrate new flows or allow any price increase to be attributed to the TRIA token. Assessing adoption will require evidence of actual usage, costs, and route availability.
