Intel
#INTC fell to around 100 today.
I think the 100โ95 range offers strong support. You could start with an initial position today.
I mainly look at three signals when assessing a potential buying opportunity at the bottom:
โ Support levels
$90โ95 is the first zone to watch, and $80โ85 is the second. There has been historical trading activity at these levels, but that doesnโt mean theyโre guaranteed to hold.
โก Signs that the decline is stopping
Once the share price enters a support zone, donโt rush to buy. First, watch to see whether it stops making new lows, forms higher lows, and rebounds with increased trading volume.
โข Fundamentals
The key factors for Intel are 18A yields, external customer orders for 14A, and foundry losses.
If the share price falls to $90 but foundry losses keep widening and customer orders fall short of expectations, that may not be a bargainโit could be a value trap.
How would I assess it?
If it falls to $90โ95 and shows signs of stabilizing, Iโd consider making my first purchase.
If it breaks below $90 and fails to recover, Iโd reassess the $80โ85 range.
If it holds above $100 and resumes an uptrend, thereโs no need to insist on waiting for $90.
A true bottom-fishing strategy isnโt about guessing the lowest price. Itโs about acting when price, trend, and fundamentals gradually align. Also, the earnings report comes out on the 29th of this month.
