🚨 BLACKROCK SHIFTS $355M IN $BTC + $ETH TO COINBASE PRIME BlackRock ETF wallets moved 3,215 $BTC (~$262M) and 38,882 $ETH (~$93M) to Coinbase Prime in about 2 hours, per Onchain Lens. My read: flows like this are almost always ETF creation/redemption plumbing, not a confirmed dump. But watch the timing: US spot BTC ETFs just logged a $635M single-day outflow and ETH ETFs $110M in the Oct 22 session, with BlackRock's own IBIT and ETHA leading the redemptions. If these transfers are redemption settlements, that is real sell-side flow hitting the tape. ⚠️ Flip side: Coinbase Prime is also the creation desk. If these are creations instead, the bearish read flips. Size is the signal; the next flow prints will confirm. 📌 Sharing personal opinions only, not financial advice or a recommendation to buy/sell. Crypto is highly risky; DYOR and you are solely responsible. No coin promotion. #Bitcoin #BlackRock #ETF #Binance

🚨JUST IN: US spot Bitcoin ETFs just saw $635.5 MILLION in net outflows, with BlackRock and Fidelity leading the exit. BlackRock's IBIT shed $254 million, Fidelity's FBTC lost $217 million, ARK's ARKB gave up $109 million and Grayscale's GBTC lost $29.5 million. Together, IBIT and FBTC made up about 74% of the day's outflows. Morgan Stanley's MSBT was the only fund to attract new money, at $2.3 million. The reversal was sharp. It snapped a three-day inflow streak worth roughly $1.08 billion, including $528 million on Wednesday alone, a one-day swing of more than $1.1 billion. SoSoValue calls it the largest single-day net outflow since June 25. Ether ETFs also lost about $110 million the same day. Bitcoin slipped to around $81,400 on Friday after failing to hold the $85,000 resistance zone, with roughly $406 million in crypto liquidations. Analysts are now watching $80,000 as key support. The data alone doesn't establish what drove the selling, but the timing lines up with a risk-off session on Wall Street and escalating Gulf tensions. Despite the dip, the funds still hold about $104.7 billion in net assets, roughly 6.4% of Bitcoin's market cap. October's cumulative flows are now slightly negative, at around -$174 million. #Bitcoin #BTC #ETF #BlackRock #Crypto

🚨JUST IN: US spot Ethereum ETFs just lost $110.5 MILLION in a single day, led by BlackRock. BlackRock's ETHA shed $75.45 million, its staked version ETHB lost another $17.17 million, and Grayscale's two funds (ETH and ETHE) bled $10.69 million and $9.56 million. Fidelity's FETH was the only fund to take in new money, at just $2.37 million. The reversal is notable. Ether ETFs had finally snapped a five-day outflow streak the day before with $14.96 million in inflows, only to flip straight back to red. ETHA's outflow alone was about five times larger than the previous day's total inflow. The pain extends beyond one session. Ether funds have now lost roughly $1 billion in October, with ETHA accounting for nearly all of it, even as Bitcoin ETFs staged a $1 billion three-day comeback before Thursday's $635 million outflow. Ether was trading near $2,390 on Thursday, and Ether ETFs now hold about $14.57 billion in assets, roughly 5% of ETH's market cap. Taken together with Bitcoin's and Solana's outflows, crypto ETFs shed roughly $751 million in one day, a reminder that institutional demand remains highly sensitive to the macro backdrop. #Ethereum #ETH #ETF #BlackRock #Crypto $ETH

BlackRock is eyeing Bitcoin yet again. On October 19, it filed its third BTC ETF application with the SEC: the iShares Bitcoin Managed Protection ETF (PBIT). It’s built on IBIT, which holds $65.7 billion, and wraps it in three layers of staggered options to provide a “buffer”—each tranche initially targets a maximum loss of about 10%, in exchange for capping gains. Essentially, it’s an insurance-style product that trades returns for peace of mind. Calamos and First Trust have been doing this for a while. Interestingly, BlackRock still only recognizes BTC and ETH; there’s not even a hint of an application for SOL or XRP. #比特币ETF #BlackRock

Came across this post from Onchain Lens: A BlackRock-related ETF wallet transferred 3,215 $BTC (about $262 million) and 38,882 $ETH (about $93.22 million) to Coinbase Prime within roughly two hours, for a total of about $356 million. The key fact is the numbers. Transfers like these are common in authorized participant redemption/settlement flows and don’t necessarily mean an immediate sell-off. But the amounts are substantial, and with that wave of net outflows from spot ETFs happening at the same time, it’s worth keeping an eye on. #BlackRock #链上 #CoinbasePrime

BlackRock is moving to capture the risk averse institutional segment by proposing a fund designed to mitigate Bitcoin downside. This follows successful models from competitors like Calamos that protected investors during major crashes. As volatility remains a primary barrier for conservative capital, BlackRock's expansion into protective products will likely solidify its dominance in the institutional crypto landscape. #BlackRock #BitcoinHedging ⠀

BlackRock wants to sell you bitcoin with a seatbelt. On Monday the firm filed for the iShares Bitcoin Managed Protect ETF, reportedly under the ticker PBIT. The pitch: upside tied to IBIT up to a limit, plus some cushion when bitcoin falls. How it works: an options-based structure. The trade-off is plain. In a strong rally, the gains stop at a cap. Still open: the size of the cap, the depth of the protection and the fee. None are set yet, and a filing is not an approval. This would be BlackRock's third bitcoin ETF, after IBIT (Jan 2024) and the premium income fund it launched in June. Why it matters: the biggest name in spot bitcoin is now packaging it for investors who want the asset without the full drawdowns. And the appetite for protection is already visible. In the week to Oct 19, traders opening new BTC options put $29.8M into puts vs $26.7M into calls, while implied volatility (DVOL) rose from 37.4 to 38.9. #blackRock Would you trade some upside for a cushion on $BTC?

BlackRock's IBIT took in $665.2M on Monday. Over the first 12 trading days of October it took in $189.5M combined. By our math, that one session was 3.5 times IBIT's whole month up to Friday. It was the fund's biggest day since Oct 7, 2025, per Farside data. No other spot Bitcoin ETF had inflows: Fidelity's FBTC lost $83.6M and Grayscale's GBTC $54.9M, which left the group at +$526.7M for the day. At Monday's US close near $81,900, IBIT's inflow is worth about 8,100 BTC. Miners produce about 450 new BTC a day, so one fund's inflow equals roughly 18 days of new supply. October is still negative. US spot Bitcoin ETFs were down $614.7M for the month before Monday and are still down about $88M after it. Spot ether ETFs lost another $103.3M the same day. BlackRock’s PBIT: Less downside risk, but limited upside? BlackRock has filed a preliminary prospectus for the iShares Bitcoin Managed Protection ETF (PBIT). The fund is not yet launched and remains subject to regulatory review. Here’s what makes it interesting: • It would use options linked to IBIT rather than hold Bitcoin directly. • It aims to provide limited downside protection. • In exchange, potential gains would be capped. • Protection is not guaranteed, and investors could still lose money. The bigger picture is worth watching. Some investors want exposure to Bitcoin without taking on all its volatility. Products like PBIT could offer another approach, but they also introduce trade-offs and added complexity. My takeaway: Risk management is not free. Limiting potential losses can also mean giving up part of the upside. What would matter more to you: partial downside protection or full exposure to Bitcoin’s potential gains? BlackRock’s PBIT: Less downside risk, but limited upside?
BlackRock has filed a preliminary prospectus for the iShares Bitcoin Managed Protection ETF (PBIT). The fund is not yet launched and remains subject to regulatory review.
Here’s what makes it interesting:
• It would use options linked to IBIT rather than hold Bitcoin directly.
