Once the positions mature, the attackers may be able to settle them and extract assets from the related protocol. Honestly, this state of “the positions are already planted and just waiting to mature” is a bit more unsettling than a sudden attack.

⚠️ On the other hand, the project team still has a window for protection. SlowMist has clearly recommended that affected projects immediately take mitigation measures and must complete the handling before the malicious positions mature.
