🟠 TRADING OR ACCUMULATING
$BTC ? I’m learning the difference
For a long time, I thought that to make money with Bitcoin I had to buy and sell at the right moment.
But the more I learn, the more I understand that there are two very different paths:
📊 Do trading:
Try to take advantage of the price ups and downs. You have to make decisions constantly and accept that you can be wrong.
🪙 Build a position:
Buy small amounts of Bitcoin regularly and gradually increase the amount of BTC you have, without obsessing over getting the perfect price.
In my case, I’m trying to do the second.
Today I look at my account and I have approximately 0.007 BTC accumulated. And something curious is happening:
When Bitcoin goes up, the value of what I’ve already accumulated increases. 📈
But if Bitcoin drops again, I also don’t necessarily see it as something negative.
Why?
Because I’m still accumulating.
If I allocate the same amount of dollars to buy BTC, a drop allows me to get more satoshis for the same money.
💡 That’s when I understood something:
When you’re building a position, you don’t need Bitcoin to go up every day.
You need time, discipline, and a plan you can stick to.
I’m not saying that accumulating is better than trading for everyone.
I’ve simply found that, for me, it’s much more important to increase the amount of Bitcoin I have than to try to guess what the next market move will be.
And that difference completely changed how I see Bitcoin 🟠
