🏦 BANKING GIANTS ARE MOVING DEEPER INTO STABLECOINS Something interesting is happening in traditional finance. Bank of America is among a group of 21 major financial institutions preparing to launch a new stablecoin company. The group includes names such as Goldman Sachs, Citi, Wells Fargo, UBS and Santander. The initial focus is a USD-denominated stablecoin, with a potential launch targeted for the first half of 2027. The group also plans to expand into other G7 currencies, with the euro expected to be the next major focus. The use cases are not just about crypto trading. The banks are looking at cross-border payments, digital-asset settlement and other institutional transactions where stablecoins could potentially make moving money faster and more efficient. At the same time, U.S. Bank has separately begun piloting its own USBDC stablecoin for cross-border transactions on Stellar. So there are now two developments worth watching: • Banks are experimenting with their own stablecoins. • Large financial institutions are also joining forces to build shared infrastructure. For years, stablecoins were largely viewed as a crypto-native product. That may be changing. The bigger question for me is whether bank-issued stablecoins will eventually compete directly with established players like USDC and USDT, or whether they will mainly serve institutional payment and settlement use cases. We probably won’t have to wait too long to find out. #BankOfAmericaGroupPilotsUSBDCStablecoin $MEME $KII $DEBIT {future}(SOLUSDT) {future}(BTCUSDT) {future}(MEMEUSDT)

#BankOfAmericaGroupPilotsUSBDCStablecoin 🚨 BANKS ARE GOING DEEPER INTO STABLECOINS A major shift is taking shape in traditional finance as large U.S. banks move from simply studying digital assets toward testing and building stablecoin infrastructure. 🏦 U.S. Bank has completed a live pilot transaction using its proprietary USBDC, a U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin, to test cross-border payments and related capabilities. Meanwhile, Bank of America has joined a group of 21 major financial institutions — including Goldman Sachs and Citi — planning a U.S. dollar-denominated stablecoin targeted for launch in the first half of 2027. 💵 Why does this matter for crypto? Stablecoins are increasingly being explored as financial infrastructure for faster settlement, cross-border payments and digital transactions. The bigger story may not be banks replacing traditional finance with crypto. It may be traditional finance gradually adopting blockchain-based rails where they see practical value. For the crypto market, this could mean deeper institutional involvement, stronger demand for regulated digital-dollar infrastructure and a potentially larger role for stablecoins in global payments. ⚠️ Important: U.S. Bank's USBDC pilot and Bank of America's planned consortium stablecoin are separate initiatives. The institutional stablecoin race is clearly accelerating. $VTHO $REZ $EGLD {future}(EGLDUSDT) {future}(REZUSDT) {future}(VTHOUSDT)
