I want to make a living in web3, I have prepared around 3000 USDT as startup capital, planning to use 1000 USDT with 6x leverage to trade cryptocurrencies, engaging in medium to long-term trading. The remaining 2000 USDT will be used for airdrops, working full-time in web3, posting daily to check in, and sticking to it until the end of the year to see if I can turn 3000 USDT into 30000 USDT.
For medium to long-term cryptocurrency trading, there's not much to say, just hold on. The main focus is on airdrops, manually operating 20 accounts, participating in all projects by following the bloggers who promote them, basically getting involved in everything, aiming for the airdrop safety net. Current projects I'm working on: Abstract, Humanity, ORO, Linera, Camp, Sahara Botting: DWAN, Bless, AIphaos.
Woke up this morning feeling dizzy, Israel's shelling caused my account to rise, checking the margin, there was still over 100u left, so I quickly added another 200u. Now the account balance has returned to a state of insecurity. Currently, I am not making progress towards the planned goal, and there has been no advancement in harvesting profits. I don't know if I can hold on until the end of the year.
The big pancake rises and falls quickly, while the imitation rises slowly and falls quickly. If this continues, will the imitation be ground down to zero?
The Irys Galaxy DC task has a tutorial from a blogger, I went to take a look and plan to give up. I haven't researched new projects, still working on those few. Now, following up on 20 accounts every day takes a lot of time, I even doubt the authenticity of those big players managing 200 accounts manually.
Abstract finally has an account at Silver, switched to a free game, playing a round every day. The experience gained isn't much, but it's enough to reach Silver. The other accounts are also catching up, aiming to get all accounts to Silver for a guaranteed baseline.
Daily follow-up on new tasks in OpenSea. Irys wants to work on the DC tasks, but has no clear direction. Currently, just trying to get through the daily tasks.
Now, the goal of 30,000u is still far away, and the motivation to execute is getting weaker. I have to admit that the easy gains from bonuses have passed, and relying on those gains to reach the goal is difficult. It's time to look for new opportunities.
The altcoin is really disappointing, the big pancake has returned to 110,000, and the account hasn't broken even yet. I'm starting to doubt if there will be another altcoin season.
No new projects in the works, still focusing on following up with Abstract, OpenSea, and Irys Galaxy.
Bought 5000 yuan of $WCT , this should be considered a valuable coin. WalletConnect, just like its name, connects wallets, allowing wallets to connect to DApps without a browser extension. I used it during airdrops; I could directly scan the QR code on my phone's wallet to connect to the computer, which was quite convenient. There are many coins in the crypto world with great narratives, but there aren't many I've actually experienced. $WCT can be considered a truly practical application, and this purchase can be seen as a value investment.
I have stopped brushing Alpha, because according to the daily 15 minutes, I should only be able to claim once in 15 days. As long as Alpha follows the high trading volume, the chance of being pulled back is very small. Even if there are no studio people, there will be more and more in the future, and I may have to add another tier to claim once, so I don't want to participate anymore.
Now focusing on the 3 airdrop projects, Abstract, OpenSea, and Irys Galaxy. I plan to reach silver for Abs to secure the minimum, and I still need a little bit more. Last week, the experience from running the cockroach horse race was very minimal. I switched to a different game this week, and if it doesn't give much experience, it will be a bit difficult to reach silver. OS is losing gas and wear, following it for a month. If the project side is not planning to issue tokens at that time, I will either reduce my stake or give up. Irys Galaxy has DC tasks and daily repeat tasks. The DC tasks are a bit difficult, mainly focusing on the daily simple tasks. Claiming task points requires gas, and I plan to follow up for a month like OS.
Plan Goal: Reach 30,000u by the end of the year, through yield farming and trading. 1,000u is allocated for trading, with an additional 2,000u for yield farming. Current Progress: 1. Trading positions show a floating loss of 540u, will continue to remain bullish, will reassess positions by the end of June. 2. Yield farming projects that have not issued tokens, ongoing projects: Abstract Mainnet, OpenSea Mainnet, Irys Galaxy, Espresso L3, Pharos Testnet, Linera Testnet, ORO, Humanity Check-in. Idle Tasks: DWAN, Bless, AIphaOS. Aster has completed two accounts for transaction volume tasks, one with 100,000 and another with 10,000. Camp Testnet has created 10 accounts, no plans to follow up further.
In the past two days, I've been focused on OS and Irys. The OS tasks have been losing gas and wear, and the new task requires buying NFTs on the ETH mainnet, which has expensive gas fees. I plan to give up on this task. Irys has repetitive tasks, costing 2r per account daily. I intend to follow both projects for a month; if by then the project teams have no plans to issue tokens, I will consider reducing accounts or giving up. The plan is to engage in more projects to create qualitative changes through quantitative accumulation, but following ongoing tasks every day takes a lot of time, leaving little time for new projects. What concerns me is that if I only focus heavily on a few projects in the current environment, it may ultimately just result in a string of data.
It's quite difficult to make a living in Web3, after all, the only things retail investors can do here are trading coins and farming tokens. Trading coins, buying Bitcoin, with too little capital, the price increase is not worth it. Buying altcoins, they fall but don't rise; Bitcoin at 100,000, altcoins not only fail to keep up but instead regress. Doing contracts, the long-term survival rate is 0.2%. The myth of getting rich through crypto is over; most who come in now are just cannon fodder. Farming tokens, I can speak on this because I'm currently doing it; saying that farming tokens is akin to being a slave in Web3 is not an exaggeration. Wallet separation, IP isolation, completing these is just the basics; finding projects and grinding every day is the official path to becoming a slave. Zero-cost projects face thousands of script accounts from studios, with the potential for a disappointing outcome. Projects with costs may face counter-farming and manipulation from the project teams. When you diligently complete tasks, follow the project, and finally receive an airdrop, the result may be that you are unceremoniously turned away by the project team, who could be likened to evil witches. When you finally pass all these hurdles and can claim the airdrop, the reward might be less than what you could earn delivering food. So, where are the opportunities in Web3 now?
The planned trading loss of 1000u is 700u. I remain bullish, so it's still within an acceptable range. I will persist and wait for the dawn to come.
Today, I will continue with the airdrop projects OS and Irys. For OS, I will selectively complete tasks and avoid those with excessive losses, engaging in a long-term battle with the project team. Today, for Irys, I will add 5 more accounts to go through all the simple tasks and then research the DC tasks. Both are projects that incur GAS losses. If the project team does not issue tokens for a long time, the costs will be significant.
Today I completed 10 accounts for the Irys Galaxy mission, and I plan to complete a total of 15. Irys Galaxy has 12 missions, and I haven't completed 5 of them due to DC character acquisition, and I still don't know how to finish those. The remaining 7 are all quite simple, with three that need to be repeated daily. Each of these three missions needs to be claimed separately, so most of the cost is in the repeated tasks. I have high hopes for this project and will continue to follow up.
I have a bit of an idea about Galxe (Galaxy), asked around but couldn't find out anything, after a lot of effort finally figured out how to operate it. Binance does not have the G withdrawal mainnet, you need to withdraw from the adjacent mainnet $G as gas to claim task rewards. Claiming one task reward requires 2.5G. I am doing Irys tasks on Galxe, the project is not very popular, the testnet has some classic mini-games, like Snake and Tetris, which are quite interesting, but it seems that they do not airdrop to testnet users, so I focus on doing Galxe tasks. Now there are 12 tasks, except for DC which requires obtaining character tasks, the others are quite simple.
Just casually participating in the Irys testnet, mainly following up on the Galaxy mission. I just started researching the Galaxy yesterday and still don't quite understand it.
The new task on OpenSea requires exchanging 5u on the Avalanche chain for 50XP. Another task is to join the official DC to obtain a character for 100XP. The tasks are bound, meaning you must complete the first task to unlock the second one, which is a bit frustrating.
Today's Tasks 1. Aster trades 100,000u to earn 100,000 points 2. New task on OpenSea, this project incurs gas fees and wear, not issuing tokens makes the long-term cost not small, need to be meticulous and follow up slowly. 3. Mint the newly released NFT from Pharos, test network free minting.
Abstract doesn't know what to do, cockroach horse racing doesn't give experience, it's still a bit difficult to free mint to silver.
1. Abstract, this is the longest-running one, planning to stick around for silver and get guaranteed earnings. Updating experience tonight, ran the cockroach for a week to see how much experience it can provide. 2. OpenSea, actively worked on 5 accounts, other accounts were lightly engaged. From their CMO's statements, this project won't have TGE that quickly; we'll see how it goes later. 3. Monad, very competitive, over 200 million wallets registered, just did a bit, not expecting much, focusing on participation. 4. Pharos, the testnet ran quite smoothly, completed all the tasks inside, will check in later and interact occasionally. 5. Camp, the testnet tasks will roll back, not sure if they have fixed it. 6. ORO, binding social accounts will automatically grant points. 7. Linera, requires the wallet to have 0.001E on the mainnet to participate, a few tasks posted on Twitter. 8. Humanity check-in, currently only check-ins are available, started too late, only a few thousand points. 9. Aster, new user activities to earn points through transaction volume, currently only worked on two accounts. 10. Theoriq lottery 11. Idle DWAN, Bless, AIphaOS
No-cost testnet, studios are running thousands of scripts on thousands of accounts, cannot compete at all, just participating casually. Focusing on some low-cost projects that cannot run scripts.
OpenSea CMO said there will be a lot of tasks in the future, feeling like being pua, made 5 accounts for the new tasks, will not do it for now, will see how it goes later.
