When BTC is going up, thereโs always a voice in my head:
"Why didnโt I buy?"
"Can I still chase it now?"
"If I donโt act soon, itโll be too late."
When itโs falling, thereโs also:
"Why didnโt I sell?"
"Will it keep dropping?"
"Cut your lossesโat least take less of a hit."
Later, I realized that this voice isnโt just mine.
Almost every retail trader is in the same rhythm:
not daring to chase โ regret โ FOMO entry โ trapped in a losing position โ panic sell-off.
It repeats again and again, like a prewritten program.
I used to be like that too.
Until one time, I wrote my trading plan on a note and put it next to my screen.
"Buy condition: BTC returns to XX level"
"Sell condition: take profit of XX% or cut loss of XX%"
That day, BTC rose by 8%.
I didnโt do anything.
Because the conditions hadnโt been met.
That was the first time I feltโwhat itโs like not to be dragged around by the market.
You canโt predict price moves.
But you know what you want.
Do you have a habit of writing a trading plan?
If yes, hit 1. If no but you want to start, hit 2. If you think itโs useless, hit 3
