The Chief Advisor of the Interim Government, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has stated that we live in a world where not being prepared for war is suicidal. He made this comment today, Wednesday, at the concluding ceremony of the Bangladesh Air Force's annual exercise 'Akash Bijoy 2025'. The Chief Advisor observed the Bangladesh Air Force's exercises at the BAF base Bir Uttam A K Khandker today.
Dr. Yunus said, I am an anti-war person.
We do not wish for war to occur in the world. Preparation for war often leads to war. Therefore, there is a serious objection to war preparation. But we live in such a world where the constant threat of war surrounds us.

The first Hajj flight of this year, carrying 398 passengers, has left Dhaka for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
