Emergency Meeting of the Advisory Council

In the wake of the ongoing movement demanding the ban of the Awami League across the country, the Advisory Council has convened an emergency meeting to manage the situation. The meeting began around 8 PM on Saturday night.
Earlier, the press secretary to the chief advisor, Shafiqul Alam, stated that the government has issued a statement regarding the ban on the Awami League. The emergency meeting of the Advisory Council has been called tonight to discuss the ban on the party.
He said, there is a meeting tonight where the proposal regarding the ICT Act will be discussed. This is the reason for the emergency meeting.
