🧠 Everyone is talking about Layer 2… But does Ethereum really need them?
L2s solve real problems: scalability, costs, speed. But as time goes on, it seems they are becoming independent ecosystems, with their own tokens, their own DEXs, and communities increasingly distant from Ethereum.
At this point, the question is legitimate:
Are we empowering Ethereum or are we surpassing it, piece by piece?
Who will win between "Ethereum + L2" and "a single but scalable L1 chain" (like Solana or Aptos)?
Will the future be modular… or monolithic?
