Fractal Bitcoin just hit its first halving at block 2,100,000. Rewards are down to 6.25 FB and the latest upgrade is setting the stage for future emissions on the Bitcoin mainnet.

Today I went through the Fractal ecosystem page in full.
As I reviewed it, I counted: 7 cross-chain bridges, 5 centralized exchanges, 12 collectibles, 2 core contributors, 8 DEXs, 10 DeFi projects, 9 developer tools, 5 browsers, 12 games, 7 launchpads, 5 Memes, 9 mining pools, 3 stablecoins, 15 trading tools, and 5 wallets.
At present, the Fractal ecosystem already covers a very wide range of categories. It has layouts in infrastructure, trading, applications, and tools, and it also provides users with more choices for exploration and for the continued development of projects. As the ecosystem keeps improving, everyone can pay close attention to each project's real user experience, trading activity, liquidity performance, and subsequent update progress.

FB is currently around $0.325. It has fallen more than 99% from its historical high of $39.25, and is only about 3% away from its historical low.
This level really is miserable—but falling a lot only indicates there are many bagholders. We still need to see whether there’s anyone willing to buy next.
After FIP-102 goes live, the overall issuance speed will drop from 25 FB per Fractal block to the equivalent of 12.5 FB.
Of this, 6.25 FB remains in Fractal, and the equivalent 6.25 FB will be prepared to be distributed to Bitcoin mainnet users. Overall, the added supply is cut in half; rewards for Fractal mining, indexing, and the staking side will be reduced even more.
I think it’s time to start taking a small position and picking up “trash.”
The bet is that the halving, the Bitcoin mainnet distribution, and UniSat’s future products will bring users back.
Take a little to observe first. Once the FIP-103 rules, trading volume, and on-chain activity data are out, we can decide whether to add more.
