Lightning Labs officially launches its self-hosted Bitcoin payment toolkit, Wavelength. The platform is built on an Ark-like settlement layer, enabling developers and AI agents to connect directly to Lightning payments via API without having to run their own nodes or manage channels.

Wavelength also supports AI agents calling Bitcoin payment APIs and other data services through MCP tool calls, further lowering the integration barrier. Currently, the project is available in alpha on signet and testnet, while access to mainnet requires an invitation.
