🚨 Pump.fun Just Replaced Its Cross-Chain Trading System CONFIRMED: On October 22, Pump.fun introduced Pump Bridge, replacing Relay as the default cross-chain trading service in its mobile app. Pump.fun reports that buys averaged 1.95 seconds, compared with 3.88 seconds through Relay, during its internal testing. Why it matters: Faster execution and fewer failed trades could improve the user experience—but these are platform-reported test results, not a guarantee of future performance. Takeaway: Watch whether Pump Bridge attracts sustained trading activity and creates lasting value for the ecosystem. 🚨 Pump.fun Is Moving Beyond Memecoins — What Comes Next ? Pump.fun has added a new trading category that could change what creators launch on the platform. CONFIRMED: On October 19, Pump.fun announced that PreStocks tokens are live, allowing users to trade tokens referencing eight private companies and markets, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Neuralink, and Polymarket. Creators can also launch new tokens paired with these assets. But here’s the important detail: These tokens do not represent direct ownership of the underlying companies. Access restrictions also apply. Why does this matter for $PUMP? New trading options could attract activity, but actual demand depends on whether users adopt the feature and generate sustained trading volume. Pump.fun also introduced an app trading fee on October 17, making its fee structure another factor worth monitoring. The takeaway: Pump.fun is expanding beyond its original memecoin-launching model. Pump.fun’s fee wallet transferred about 129,800 SOL to Kraken again. Lookonchain, citing Arkham, valued it at around $14.07 million. Cumulative sales have reached about 5.478 million SOL, worth around $875.5 million, at an average price of about $159.80. CoinGecko spot prices: SOL around $104.35 and PUMP around $0.00478 (snapshot at about 18:05 Beijing time). A transfer to an exchange doesn’t mean the tokens will all be dumped that day. Fee monetization naturally involves ongoing outflows, and bears will treat every large transfer as an intentional sell-off of SOL. The average selling price is still around $160, well above the current spot price—meaning past sales fetched higher prices, not that the next batch will be just as easy to sell. If the fee wallet makes another same-direction transfer worth tens of millions of dollars within three days, and SOL spot falls below $100, treat this as selling pressure materializing. If the order book and price show no sustained decline after the transfer, treat it as routine conversion, not a crash signal. The platform is still making money, but that doesn’t mean on-chain selling pressure has disappeared. $PUMP $SOL #Pumpfun #Solana

Fed up with Relay’s slowness, Pump.fun brings its cross-chain bridge in-housePump.fun is finally done renting someone else’s pipes for cross-chain transactions. On October 21 (UTC), the official @Pumpfun account posted a thread announcing that cross-chain trades in the app would now default to its homegrown Pump Bridge, replacing the previously integrated Relay. Its own data claims purchases are about twice as fast, the error rate has fallen from roughly 11.2% to 0.9% (a claimed reduction of about 92%), and execution prices are a little better. There are currently no additional cross-chain fees. The test ran from September 28 to October 7 and covered Robinhood, BSC, Base, Arc, Ink, and others, with a sample size of more than 400,000 transactions. Note: all these figures come from Pump.fun’s own tests. A little background: Pump.fun only launched cross-chain support in May this year, initially using someone else’s bridge. After enough complaints, it built its own. Rival social trading app FOMO is still on Relay—and the official account went out of its way to call it out.

💸 Pump.fun just transferred another $14 million worth of SOL to Kraken. Should we criticize the platform for selling its coins? On-chain data is making the rounds again. According to Lookonchain, about 8 hours ago Pump.fun deposited 129,798 SOL into Kraken, worth around $14.07 million. On-chain data shows it has sold a cumulative total of about 5.47 million SOL at an average price of roughly $159.80, while SOL is trading around $105–$106 today. Another data point: an X user citing DefiLlama said Pump.fun earned about $1.39 million in revenue yesterday. This deposit is roughly equivalent to 10 days of revenue. 🔹 Where does the money come from? Most of the fees users pay to launch and trade tokens are in SOL. 🔹 Where does it go? It’s regularly sent to exchanges, most likely to be converted into stablecoins or fiat. 🔹 The controversy: Critics call this a “value-extraction” model, where a few people profit while most traders lose. My take: A company converting its revenue into dollars isn’t inherently malicious. Any company needs to pay salaries and keep cash on hand. What’s really worth paying attention to is two things. First, this kind of revenue-driven selling pressure is ongoing: as long as there’s activity on-chain, a steady stream of SOL will flow to exchanges. Second, selling at an average of $159.80 when the price is now around $105 suggests it sold earlier and more consistently than most people who bought in at the top. Anyone buying newly launched tokens should think carefully about whether they’re the ones paying the fees in this setup. Do you think platforms regularly selling their revenue tokens is just normal business, or is it bad for the ecosystem? #Pumpfun #SOL #Solana #On-chainData

🌉 Pump.fun launches its own cross-chain bridge: twice as fast, but the footnote is what really matters On October 21, Pump.fun launched its own Pump Bridge, replacing the external service Relay as the default route for cross-chain token purchases in the app. The comparison data shared by the team: 🔹 Failed purchase rate: around 11.2% for Relay (more than one in nine), versus around 0.9% for Pump Bridge (less than one in a hundred) 🔹 Average completion time: down from 3.88 seconds to 1.95 seconds 🔹 The same amount of money gets you more tokens, with no extra fees 🔹 One media outlet reported roughly 17% less slippage in tests Co-founder Alon also admitted that the team was late to the cross-chain game. They rushed to build their own solution after seeing users frequently report errors and poor execution prices. But one user, @liwikruk, dug up the official footnote: the execution price for a median-sized buy was about 3.0% below spot on Pump Bridge, and about 3.6% below spot on Relay. My take: the improvements in speed and failure rates are real, and the experience will be much better for people buying meme coins all day. But don’t get distracted by “twice as fast”—the roughly 3% hidden cost is the bigger deal. Based on that user’s calculation, with 10 trades of $500 each day, that adds up to about $1.8 million in annual trading volume, so the amount lost to that spread can be substantial. Also, a homegrown bridge means the funds’ route shifts from a third party to the platform itself. It’s more convenient, but also more centralized. Before buying tokens cross-chain, at least check the estimated amount you’ll receive and the actual execution price. When you buy tokens cross-chain, do you work out how much you lose on each trade, or do you just care whether the purchase goes through? 👇 #PumpFun #跨链 #Meme币 #OnchainTrading

Is Pump.fun dumping again? Its average selling price for SOL was $159.8, while the current price is only $105 💸 🔥 Lookonchain monitoring: Pump.fun transferred another 129,798 $SOL (about $14.06 million) to Kraken, possibly signaling another round of selling. 📊 It has sold a total of 5,477,722 SOL, cashing out about $875.5 million at an average price of $159.8. 📉 SOL is currently around $105.37 (24h: -0.8%), about 34% below its average selling price. 🧠 My take: 1️⃣ Converting fee revenue into cash is standard practice, but sustained selling pressure is indeed an “invisible obstacle” on SOL’s road to recovery. 2️⃣ The good news: A single $14 million sale is relatively small compared with SOL’s daily trading volume, and the market can absorb it for now. 3️⃣ What to watch: Whether meme coin hype returns will determine if Pump.fun’s fee revenue can hold up. 🎯 Watch: Can the $105 level hold? 🎰 Pump.fun Called a “Cancer”? The Solana Memecoin Scene Is in an Uproar Over the past couple of days, a group of Solana meme traders on X have been venting about Pump.fun. Some have gone so far as to call it “cancer.” Their complaints mainly boil down to a few points: 🔹 Anyone can launch a token with zero barriers to entry—no presale or coding required—and thousands of new coins launch every day. 🔹 According to statistics, 79% of coins only see trading on their first day. By the second day, nobody cares. 🔹 Sandwich bots have siphoned millions of dollars from retail traders. 🔹 Coins shilled by KOLs crash quickly. Very few actually take off, and turning 5k into 50k is considered a huge win. Some people have also come to the platform’s defense. Ansem’s take is that this is a place for catching trends like those on TikTok, and that jumping in and out quickly is the norm. My take: Pump.fun has solved the problem of “how to launch a coin,” but not “how to find a good coin.” When the barrier to entry is low, supply is unlimited—but attention is limited. 🎰 Pump.fun Called a “Cancer”? The Solana Memecoin Scene Is in an Uproar

Over the past couple of days, a group of Solana meme traders on X have been venting about Pump.fun. Some have gone so far as to call it “cancer.”

Their complaints mainly boil down to a few points:
🔹 Anyone can launch a token with zero barriers to entry—no presale or coding required—and thousands of new coins launch every day.

The result is that most coins don’t survive 24 hours. In this kind of environment, it’s not about having a good eye; it’s about being fast. And retail traders can’t compete with bots on speed.

If you want to play, keep at least three things in mind: use a small position, set slippage, and don’t chase coins that KOLs have already shilled.

Pump.fun has pushed its share of launchpad curve trading back above 80%. On October 19 (UTC), figures from DefiLlama compiled by Blackroom showed about $168.2 million in volume that day, or roughly 83.7% of the total. Flap came in second at just around 6%. Bitquery’s longer-term data paints a starker picture: about 79% of tokens on Pump stop trading after their first day, and only about 1 in 58 graduates to a real pool. CoinGecko listed spot PUMP at about $0.00477, up roughly 7.4% over 24 hours, with about $185 million in trading volume (snapshot at approximately 20:08 Beijing time). The market-share rebound looks more like the trading machine starting up again; it doesn’t mean launch quality has improved. The counterargument is that renewed traffic means the ecosystem is alive again. The key isn’t the rhetoric, but the graduation rate and whether tokens continue trading the next day. If its daily share falls below 70% again within three days, or spot 24-hour trading volume is cut in half, treat this return to 80% as a sentiment-driven rebound, not a turning point in quality. Watch liquidity changes only; don’t guess the price direction. $PUMP $BONK #Pumpfun #Meme coin

⏱️ Is a 13-second head start enough for insiders to make a quick profit? The Pump.fun and trader Kimchi connection took a turn today. This morning, everyone was talking about “turning $7 million into $30 million+ in a day.” Now the most-discussed topic on X is the timeline: 🔹 Around 7 p.m. ET on October 20, Pump.fun changed its profile picture and page visuals 🔹 About 13 seconds later, a new coin linked to Kimchi was deployed and launched 🔹 Kimchi then changed his bio to point to the platform 🔹 Some on-chain data reportedly showed that his related holdings once accounted for about 75% of the supply, while top wallets made over $1 million in profit within an hour Supporters say this is how meme coins work: celebrities bring attention, and it’s perfectly normal for early buyers to profit. Critics say the announcement and deployment happened almost simultaneously, so by the time retail traders saw the news, the tokens were already in someone else’s hands. To be clear: these are concerns raised by the community based on on-chain records. There’s no conclusion at this point, and I’m not taking a position either. But this is a reminder for everyday traders: before jumping into a celebrity’s new coin, check at least three things: 1. The gap between deployment and the official announcement—be wary if large buys happen within seconds 2. The share held by the top 10 addresses—if one address holds most of the supply, it’s a cash machine for whoever holds it 3. Whether early wallets had already started selling in batches before you bought My view: the information gap itself is the “product” of coins like these. The hype you can see is for you; the token distribution you can’t see is the real story. Do you think this is a normal first-mover advantage, or unfair to retail traders? Let’s discuss in the comments 👇 #Pumpfun #Meme币 #链上数据 #Solana
⏱️ Is a 13-second head start enough for insiders to make a quick profit?

The Pump.fun and trader Kimchi connection took a turn today.

This morning, everyone was talking about “turning $7 million into $30 million+ in a day.” Now the most-discussed topic on X is the timeline:

🔹 Around 7 p.m. ET on October 20, Pump.fun changed its profile picture and page visuals
🔹 About 13 seconds later, a new coin linked to Kimchi was deployed and launched
🔹 Kimchi then changed his bio to point to the platform
🔹 Some on-chain data reportedly showed that his related holdings once accounted for about 75% of the supply, while top wallets made over $1 million in profit within an hour

Supporters say this is how meme coins work: celebrities bring attention, and it’s perfectly normal for early buyers to profit. Critics say the announcement and deployment happened almost simultaneously, so by the time retail traders saw the news, the tokens were already in someone else’s hands.

To be clear: these are concerns raised by the community based on on-chain records. There’s no conclusion at this point, and I’m not taking a position either.

But this is a reminder for everyday traders: before jumping into a celebrity’s new coin, check at least three things:

2. The share held by the top 10 addresses—if one address holds most of the supply, it’s a cash machine for whoever holds it
3. Whether early wallets had already started selling in batches before you bought

My view: the information gap itself is the “product” of coins like these. The hype you can see is for you; the token distribution you can’t see is the real story.

Do you think this is a normal first-mover advantage, or unfair to retail traders? Let’s discuss in the comments 👇

⏱️ Hold for 9 seconds, make $120,000? Pump.fun’s leaderboard turns Meme trading into a stopwatch game A screenshot of the Pump.fun leaderboard has recently been making the rounds on X, and the numbers are eye-catching: 🔹 Trader daumen made over $120,000, with a median holding time of just 9 seconds 🔹 Jack Duval made over $206,000, with a median holding time of 25 seconds 🔹 The platform generated about $65.63 million in revenue over the past 30 days This system rewards people who can generate trading volume quickly. Many tokens aren’t held for even a minute. The controversy followed. Critics say this is nothing like the communities built on shared belief around Dogecoin and Shiba Inu in 2021. With thousands of new coins chasing hype every day, it looks more like a casino where people rush in and out. Supporters, meanwhile, argue that it simply reflects the efficiency of viral spread. My take: the leaderboard shows the winners, but not the people left holding the bag during those 9 seconds. Those who can get in and out in seconds are usually relying on tools, speed, and an information edge. Ordinary people clicking buttons manually are more likely to be the ones providing liquidity for them. If you want to participate, sure—but treat it as entertainment, and only put in what you’re prepared to lose entirely. Do you think the Meme market has evolved into a more efficient way to trade attention, or has it become a pure speed casino? What’s the shortest time you’ve ever held a position? #Meme币 #Pumpfun #Solana #OnchainTrading

🎰 Trader Kimchi joins Pump.fun: “$7 million to $30 million in a day”—would you follow? Solana meme launchpad Pump.fun has just welcomed trader Kimchi. A roundup of trending topics on X shows his assets climbing from around $7 million to over $30 million in a single day. Tokens he holds, such as Aura Final Boss, have also surged toward a $30 million market cap, with trading volume going through the roof. 🔹 Pump.fun sees him as a “bridge” to retail investors outside the crypto scene 🔹 He first made a name for himself with gains on political meme coins, though those gains have not been verified 🔹 Photos of desert trips and luxury outfits have added fuel to the trend of traders becoming influencers My take: when celebrities enter the scene, they bring attention—not fundamentals. You see the $30 million on his books, but you don’t know when he’ll sell or who he’ll sell to. When a big account calls it and the market cap takes off, it’s often the people who just rushed in who end up holding the bag. If you’re going to play, treat it as an entertainment position: keep it small, decide your exit point in advance, and don’t chase the last big green candle. Would you buy memes based on an influencer trader’s moves, or just watch the spectacle? 👇 #Pumpfun #Meme币 #Solana #BinanceSquare

🎰 The truth about Pump.fun: 90% of people are working for the 1% Someone dug through data on 384 million transactions and 7.7 million wallets on Pump.fun. The findings are pretty sobering 👇 🔹 After fees, about 90% of participants lose money, with a median loss of around $25 🔹 The top 1% of wallets take home 94% of the profits 🔹 “Cabal” wallets get in during the first few minutes after launch, often double their money, then dump and leave 🔹 Want to copy these smart money wallets? The data shows copy traders lose an average of about 41% on each coin 🔹 The platform itself brought in around $65 million in revenue over the past month Put simply, in this meme casino, the surest winners are the house and the “people dealing the cards.” The “100x legends” you see are built on the backs of thousands of small $25 losses. My take: There’s nothing wrong with playing meme coins, but treat it as entertainment money, not an investment. Keep your position small, stay level-headed, don’t FOMO into the second green candle, and definitely don’t blindly copy Cabal wallets—you may be seeing them just as they’re getting ready to exit.
