🔥AI battleground wins another round! LG teams up with NVIDIA—humanoid robots are set to enter thousands of households!🔥
A major collaboration is officially locked in. LG and NVIDIA have formally signed an agreement, planning to launch a bipedal humanoid robot powered by NVIDIA chips in 2027.
LG will handle the complete hardware system, with actuators, batteries, and sensors all fully covered. NVIDIA will provide the Jetson Thor chip and the GR00T humanoid model—an end-to-end hardware-software solution that brings “physical AI” out of the lab and into reality.
Even more importantly, Jensen Huang has put forward a 25% residual value guarantee to cover part of the hardware depreciation risk. It’s like giving Wall Street a reassurance—enabling institutional funds to invest more freely in AI hardware projects.
The main battlefield for AI is shifting.
In the past few years, capital rushed to data centers, competing on compute power and large models. Next, the competition will spread to real-world physical hardware, and the robotics sector is entering a period of capital acceleration. AI is no longer confined to cloud servers—it’s about to be deployed in factories and move into ordinary homes.
The sector heat is rising fast, but it’s crucial to separate expectations from delivery. A collaboration agreement is just a framework—there’s still a long way to go before mass production and commercialization. After the topic gets overhyped, what ultimately matters is mass production capability and real application scenarios.
