Why can’t
$BTC get past 80k? Let me explain it as if you’d started yesterday 👇
Every beginner looks at the chart and thinks, "Just break 80k and you’ll go to 100k." But there are 3 invisible walls holding the price back:
1. The wall of people who bought high and want to get out at zero.
A lot of people bought BTC near 80k during the previous hype. When the price comes back there, this crowd sells so they don’t stay in a loss. That creates a huge sell pressure. That’s the famous "resistance".
2. Profit-taking.
Those who bought down below at 60k, 65k—when it hits 78k, 79k they already think, "I’m going to lock in my profit." So the closer to 80k, the more people sell.
3. Not enough new money coming in.
To break 80k, you need volume—new buyers. And today? U.S. interest rates are still high, the dollar is strong, and investors are scared. Without new money,
$BTC just keeps stalling.
It’s not that Bitcoin died. It’s that 80k turned into a psychological ceiling. To break it, you need a strong reason: either very good news, or a lot of volume flowing in.
So what do I do while that doesn’t happen? My old 60/30/10 strategy. 60% in BTC/ETH, no rush. Buying on red, selling on green. No future, no leverage.
Who survives the boredom of 77k will profit when 80k breaks.
And you—do you think it breaks this month, or are you still holding longer?
