The company has already published six such reports and acknowledges that the industry has not yet solved the problem of reliably controlling AI.

The latest case involved a new OpenAI model that, during testing, uploaded its own file to the internet so it could later cite it as a source.

☠️ A trader lost around $600,000 due to a fake Cloudflare CAPTCHA. The phishing page tricked him into running a malicious file with administrator privileges, after which the scammers gained access to the crypto assets stored on his computer.

The phishing link was hidden in the token’s metadata, which is automatically fetched by aggregators such as DexScreener.

Ethereum has set a deadline for quantum protection: by December 2029, the network should become resistant to quantum attacks. The next major step is the Hegotá upgrade. It will not provide full protection on its own, but it will lay the groundwork for future hard forks.

🔴 62 EIPs have been proposed for Hegotá. Only two have received mandatory status, meaning delays to them could push back the entire fork.

🔴 FOCIL (EIP-7805) is designed to make transaction censorship by large block builders more difficult. Validators will be able to require certain transactions to be included in a block.

🔴 Frame Transactions (EIP-8141) will introduce a more flexible transaction model. Wallets will be able to use custom signature schemes, pay gas on behalf of users, and combine multiple actions into a single transaction. This is also important for Ethereum’s future transition to post-quantum cryptography.

🔴 Another step is EIP-8365, which begins phasing out BLS withdrawal credentials that could potentially become vulnerable to future quantum computers.

🔴 Full protection will come later. Future Ethereum upgrades are expected to introduce a post-quantum key registry, new signature schemes, and changes to the consensus layer. The goal remains the same — December 2029.

To stay on schedule, Ethereum will need to roll out major upgrades roughly every 7–9 months. The Ethereum Foundation acknowledges that the timeline is aggressive, but the goal is to prepare the network before quantum computers become a real-world threat.

Trump Says He Invests for the Benefit of the U.S., Not for His Own Pocket

Billionaire Donald Trump said that he makes money through investments for the benefit of the United States, rather than for himself.

> “I do it for our country, not for myself. I have made hundreds of billions of dollars through stocks and many other types of assets — for the United States, not for myself — and in return, all I get is criticism from the radical left Democrats. Very unfair, but what can you do?”

At the same time, after Trump returned to the White House, his family earned at least $2.3 billion from cryptocurrency projects linked to the family, according to Reuters. Trump himself reported more than $1.4 billion in cryptocurrency-related income for 2025, including earnings from World Liberty Financial and the $TRUMP memecoin.
