A beginner asks the million-dollar question: How do you read RSI?
In terms of the calculation, RS = average gain ÷ average loss, and RSI = 100 − 100 ÷ (1 + RS). The averages use Wilder smoothing, not a simple arithmetic average.
With RSI at 80.8, my heart rate went up too.
Comparing multiple indicators is more reliable than looking at just one, but even more signals can’t give you a definitive answer.
