Took a position yesterday in $I / @indexy_xyz. I really like the terminal @Kaloh_nft is building and especially his philosophy laid out in this subpost:
The fact that Central Banks have been amassing more gold these past decades should tell you something. Some like Willem Middelkoop hint at a revaluation of gold prices to resolve the insane debt levels we have gotten ourselves into.
It might be that, or something with bitbonds or possible a combination / different options around the world.
Probably best to have exposure to both asset classes.
It's honestly sad to see how a few individuals have hijacked the Kaspa debate under the guise of decentralizing the @KaspaCurrency account. Renaming it into Kaspa City, can it be more cringe? @ChadBallantyne did an amazing job and now one of the strongest marketing tools $KAS community had is getting self-sabotaged by some people who think they know it better. There's a saying: don't fix things that ain't broken.
I have trimmed my $KAS bag in favor of increasing my $TAO bag. Although I do think Kaspa is the biggest technological innovation since bitcoin and it will do well long term, $TAO is the better bet at the moment and I would think for the remainder of this bull run.
I will always hold onto some KAS and I'm probably going to get some hate for this, but it's drama after drama at the moment. First Shai undergoing a character assassination and now this nonsense with the account when we're already fighting an uphill battle marketing-wise.
At the same time, institutional money flowing into Bittensor and big stuff happening all across the board.
A few things I'd love to see happening with $AAVE now regulation seems to be welcoming DeFi innovation / lower security label risk
-Aave getting a banking license and becoming a hybrid bank for digital assets and fiat, taking loans in fiat against digital asset deposits. -Profit sharing for Aave token holders (I believe this was in the Aavenomics proposal? -Some sort of role in Bitbond creation / brokerage
I would recommend doing your research on $BRIX. If half the claims made are true, this will continue to run hard at such a small MC. Looking forward to see what clarity tomorrow’s AMA with their team and @BenjiGanar brings.
I always followed the mantra of: I don't own bitcoin to own more bitcoin. Actually saw a good chunk of my alt paper profits evaporate. A humbling experience for sure. Glad I took plenty of profit, but wish I had converted some of that in bitcoin last year. What's done is done, what matters more is if you are capable of adjusting your mistakes and this learning will definitely be applied in the next bear.
On iphones you can select this option. Recommended. Don't pick up calls from anyone unknown, especially when you are in crypto. Too many data breaches to take the risk.
All these stories popping up of wallets getting drained, I genuinely wonder - are these people who don't use hardware wallets or are these hardware wallets getting drained. And if so, assuming they are not social engineering attacks, how do they operate to get access at all?
Wild to see how many companies are jumping on the bitcoin bandwagon. It’s symbolic for the loss of confidence in fiat. They really screwed us over. Worst is yet to come, especially for those without any hard assets
The question is if the rapid emission schedule and all the bad actors who accumulated big amounts over the past years and keep dumping their stacks is going to harm $KAS' price ceiling this bull run. The tech might be great, but perhaps it will take another bear market for distribution of these big entities, for it to really shine.
What if the US plans to use bitcoin to substitute the role of gold for central banks? I can't quite put my finger on how they plan to do it, but I feel like they're planning to do something akin while the rest of the world is buying gold.
