YGGPlay Launchpad launched LOL Land in October. This game is based on the Abtract chain and follows a Monopoly-style gameplay. In September, YGG officially announced that the game generated over 2.5 million USD in revenue in 3 months, and the YGG team used 1.5 million USD of that revenue to buy back $YGG tokens, genuinely boosting the token price with game income.
Sister Cathy played LOL Land for a few days, but it really isn't my type of game, so I didn't continue. However, it seems that quite a few players are actively playing it.
Originally, I thought this YGGPlay Launchpad was a platform for launching ICOs for blockchain games, but after it started, I found out that it isn’t, and it’s not the first release platform for YGG’s new blockchain games. I wonder why it’s called Launchpad? It appears to just be a platform for publishing information about irregular events for blockchain games aimed at players.
