The equipment for cryptocurrency mining was placed in a small house on a overgrown plot, surrounded by a high fence and surveillance cameras. The reason for the inspection was complaints from local residents about voltage fluctuations.

Legal consequences
The company reminded that for large-scale electricity theft, liability is provided under Article 165 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - up to five years of imprisonment and a fine. Offenders are also issued bills significantly exceeding the cost of legally consumed energy.
