🌍 Stablecoin – Is it the new soft weapon of the USA?
The market capitalization of USD stablecoin has surpassed $306 billion, almost a 50% increase since the beginning of the year, bolstered by the GENIUS and CLARITY Acts – two historic milestones in the legal framework of digital currency in the USA.
According to the GENIUS Act, all stablecoins issued in the USA must be fully backed by USD or Treasury bonds. This means that every stablecoin transaction globally indirectly reinforces the strength of public debt and the position of the USD.
From Visa, Mastercard to Western Union and BlackRock – all are entering the stablecoin game, transforming blockchain into a tool to expand the financial influence of the USA.
Citi Group predicts that by 2030, the market capitalization of stablecoins could reach $1.9–4 trillion USD – at that point, stablecoins will not only be a payment tool but also a strategic link between technology, finance, and national power.
