Metaplanet announces the issuance of 385 million international shares outside Japan, priced at 553 yen/share (~3.75 USD) – 9.9% lower than yesterday's closing price of 614 yen.
➡️ Expected to raise 212.9 billion yen (~1.44 billion USD), this money will be used to:
Buy more Bitcoin (from September to October)
Hedge against the risk of yen depreciation
Expand the business segment generating revenue from $BTC
Currently, Metaplanet holds 20,137 BTC, becoming one of the publicly listed companies with the largest Bitcoin holdings in the world.
