🦬💀 MILLIONAIRE TROPHY HUNTER KILLED BY THE BUFFALO HE WAS HUNTING IN SOUTH AFRICA
Asher Watkins, 52 years old from Texas, paid $10,000 to hunt a 1.3-ton Cape buffalo. The animal, nicknamed "Black Death," ambushed and fatally gored him while he was tracking it with professional guides in a 50,000-acre reserve.
The buffalo charged at 56 km/h from the brush and killed Watkins almost instantly. Cape buffalo kill 200 people a year - more than lions, elephants, rhinoceroses, and crocodiles COMBINED. They are considered the most dangerous animal to hunt in Africa.
📸 Watkins boasted on social media with photos of dead cougars, deer, and thousands of pigeons. He once bragged about having killed "thousands of pigeons in just 3 days" in Argentina. His company, Watkins Ranch Group, manages multimillion-dollar luxury properties in Texas.
Social media exploded: "Did the buffalo take a picture with his corpse?", "Karma always finds you", "I hope all ruthless hunters meet the same fate". His ex-wife said that their teenage daughter is "in shock".
🔍 The safari company called it an "unprovoked attack". Irony: his own website warns that buffalo "seek shelter when injured, are cunning and belligerent, and are known to charge without provocation". The mother, brother, and stepfather were waiting at the lodge when the tragedy occurred.
