“One swallow does not make a summer…”
…nor does one dark night make a winter.
Do not confuse a moment of happiness with a full life.
Nor a fall with a condemnation.
In both good and bad, we need perspective.
The wise do not get drunk with fortune, nor do they drown in failure.
They know that consistency weighs more than impulse,
and that time unmasks everything:
ilusions, misfortunes… and truths.
Do not get lost in the moment. Learn to see the complete cycle.
That is living with virtue.
"One swallow does not make a summer, nor a single day; in the same way, a single noble action does not make a truly virtuous man."
-Aristotle
