It all started in 2008, during the financial crisis, when a person (or group) under the name Satoshi Nakamoto published a document called the Bitcoin whitepaper.
Its proposal? A decentralized digital money system, without banks, without intermediaries. Just people, technology, and mathematical trust.
In 2009, the first block of Bitcoin was mined: the 'Genesis Block', and that's where this story began.
In that block, they even left a message:
"The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks"
It was a direct criticism of the banking system.
What started as an idea on a forum is now a revolution that changed how we understand money.
