A crypto wallet (digital wallet) is where you store your cryptocurrencies.

But it's not like a bank account: here you are fully responsible for your funds.

There are two main types:

🔹 Custodied: by exchanges like Binance. They are easy to use, but you don't control your keys.

🔹 Uncustodied: like Trust Wallet or MetaMask. You control your private keys. If you lose them, there's no recovery.

🛡️ Key advice:

“Not your keys, not your crypto.” If you don't have your keys, you don't control your coins.

What do you use more: your own wallet or the exchange's?
