Zerebro developer believed to be alive and at parents' house: SF Standard

Jeffy Yu, the Zerebro developer who live-streamed his suicide on Pump.fun, has been discovered to be alive by a reporter from the San Francisco Standard.

According to a news outlet in San Francisco, they spoke with Yu outside his family's home, the 22-year-old developer of Zerebro, who appeared to have committed suicide during the live stream on May 4, is actually still alive. Reporter George Kelly of the San Francisco Standard stated on May 8 that he had a brief conversation with Yu outside his family's two-story house, where this cryptocurrency influencer declined to discuss the suicide allegations and whether he had financially benefited from those claims.

Instead, Yu is reported to have said: "You can see the PTSD in my eyes, right?" before requesting the reporter to leave.

He was reported to be wearing a t-shirt, shorts, flip-flops, and metal-rimmed glasses, possibly similar to what he was wearing when he allegedly committed suicide during the live stream.

SFS did not share images of Yu outside his family's home.

Many initially believed that Yu's suicide was real after reports of the incident surfaced on May 4. However, some information that began circulating on X two days later led some to conclude that his suicide attempt was a hoax.#ZEREBRO
