3 Reasons Why Kaspa (KAS) Price Is Flat Following the Crescendo Update
Kaspa’s long-awaited Crescendo update officially went live yesterday.
It’s a big technical milestone that boosts the network speed from 1 block per second to 10 blocks per second.
The upgrade also includes several improvements aimed at helping Kaspa scale even better in the future.
But despite all the excitement leading up to it, the price of KAS hasn’t really moved. It’s hovering around 7.5 cents, and there hasn’t been any major breakout or reaction from the market.
So why is the Kaspa price flat even after one of its biggest upgrades?
Here are three possible reasons.
1. The News Was Already Priced In
The KAS price already made a big move before the Crescendo update even went live. Back in March, it dropped to around $0.57. From there, it bounced to over $0.10, so nearly doubling in just a couple of weeks.
That kind of rally usually means the market was expecting something big and traders were buying in early.
By the time the actual upgrade happened, the excitement had already cooled off.
This is a classic example of “buy the rumor, sell the news” – and in this case, it seems like many traders had already taken their positions and taken profits before the official launch.
2. The Market Is Boring Right Now
Even though Kaspa is making moves on the tech side, the rest of the crypto market is pretty dull right now.
