VanEck has filed for the first spot ETF for BNB in the USA
VanEck has submitted the first spot ETF application for BNB in the USA, opening a new chapter for altcoins following the success of the Bitcoin ETF. Whether the SEC will approve it remains unclear, but Changpeng Zhao (CZ) from Binance notes the growing interest in altcoins.
Currently, over 70 applications for altcoin ETFs are active, and the market is anticipating the approval of some of them. VanEck has already registered a trust for the BNB ETF in Delaware, which is standard procedure. BNB, being one of the largest crypto assets, has a good chance.
The possibility of a BNB ETF in the USA demonstrates the asset's progress despite past legal issues faced by Binance. Major exchanges like Kraken are listing BNB again.
CZ's comments on extending the success of the Bitcoin ETF to other tokens may reflect his stance on the BNB ETF. However, the SEC may postpone decisions on many altcoin ETFs until October.
The future of the BNB ETF is still uncertain, but this application marks an important step for altcoins in the American market.$BNB $ETH $BTC
