Scalping is a trading technique where profits are taken within a very short time—sometimes within minutes or even seconds. For traders looking to make quick profits, scalping can be highly effective. But without the right indicators, this strategy can also be quite risky.
Based on my personal trading experience, here are the Top 3 Indicators I use when scalping on Binance Futures:
1. EMA (Exponential Moving Average)
Best For: Entry/Exit Signals
EMA tracks price momentum by averaging price movements with more weight on recent data.
I typically use EMA 9 and EMA 21.
When EMA 9 crosses above EMA 21 → Buy Signal
When EMA 9 crosses below EMA 21 → Sell Signal
Tips:
Use on 1-minute or 5-minute timeframes for effective scalping.
2. RSI (Relative Strength Index)
Best For: Identifying Overbought & Oversold Zones
RSI ranges from 0 to 100.
RSI above 70 → Overbought (Price may pull back)
RSI below 30 → Oversold (Price may bounce)
Scalping Strategy:
If RSI bounces from oversold and EMA crossover happens, it creates a strong buy signal.
3. VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price)
Best For: Spotting Institutional Support/Resistance
VWAP considers volume and shows the average price based on volume traded.
It’s commonly used by institutions and professional traders.
Scalping Usage:
If price stays below VWAP → Bearish bias
If price stays above VWAP → Bullish bias
Use VWAP bounces for 2–5% scalping opportunities.
Bonus Tips for Scalpers:
Trade during high volatility (London/NY overlap session).
Always use a stop loss – scalping is high risk.
Combine indicators for better accuracy—don’t rely on just one.
Conclusion:
Scalping on Binance Futures can be profitable if you use the right indicators and stay disciplined. EMA, RSI, and VWAP are my go-to tools for consistent trades.
