What is a Binance Square Verification Checkmark?
Verified badges are used to determine the account belongs to the person or brand they claim to represent. This verification badge helps you make knowledgeable choices about who to follow and the content to interact with. As always though, it's essential to Do Your Own Research and to report any suspicious content, ensuring you follow authentic, intentioned experts.
We bestow two sorts of verification badges, placed at the bottom right of the avatar. A black checkmark is for official Binance accounts, while a gold one is granted to influencers, media entities, organizations, and notable individuals.

Requirement to apply for a Golden Verification Checkmark?
General criteria for the Golden Verification Checkmark:
Credibility: Must adhere to the Binance Square Community Management Guidelines and Binance Square Terms and Conditions.* Binance Square reserves the right to potentially revoke verification status upon review of violation records, if any.Authenticity: Must pass the Binance account verification process.Activity: Must be active with regular engagement and posts on Binance Square.
Specific Requirements for Different Account Types:
1. KOLs
Own 30,000 followers or more followers on Binance Square. The account must be active.
Definition of active account
This quarter has accumulated a total of 300K views, ORThis quarter's Write to Earn volume has reached an equivalent of 1M USD.
In select cases, Binance Square may grant verification to accounts with an established presence on external platforms and a recognized reputation in their region or sector to ensure users can locate their true account. These cases are assessed individually. All public applications need to be submitted through the application portal.
2. Media
Operate as a reputable media company that covers news, blogs, reports, or analysis-based content actively.You may be asked to provide additional information for profile verification. You won't be able to set your user name to match your company name until your account has been verified.
3. Business/Organizations
Crypto, Web 3, Fintech, or traditional tech companies; agencies, funds, market analysis platforms, and aggregate trading platforms that are interested to share crypto updates on Square.You may be asked to provide additional information for profile verification. You won't be able to set your user name to match your company name until your account has been verified.
4. Projects
Only projects that are already listed on Binance will qualify for the badge.You might be asked to provide additional details to verify your profile. You won’t be able to set a user name equal to your project name (or any project name) until your account has been verified.

Once the application is approved, you will receive expert certification. Other users can also access the application page directly through the link.

 2. Media, Business/Organizations, Projects
We reserve the right to invite project teams, media, and other influential figures who consistently publish crypto-related content to obtain Binance Square Creator Verification. The verification will be strictly reviewed according to platform standards, and the platform retains the final approval authority.

Binance Square is pleased to introduce a new campaign on CreatorPad, verified users may complete simple tasks to unlock 300,000 Walrus (WAL) token voucher rewards. CreatorPad is a one-stop platform on Binance Square where users can complete tasks to earn token rewards.

Activity Period: 2026-01-06 09:00 (UTC) to 2026-02-06 09:00 (UTC)

As of 2026-01-06, CreatorPad has updated the leaderboard system that tracks users’ content and measures the quality of the content produced. Completion of tasks will earn users points and the more points a user earns, the more rewards they will receive. Check out this post for more details. 
How to Participate:
During the Activity Period, all verified Binance users who register by clicking “Join now” on this page, and complete the following mandatory tasks from sections 1 to 4 will be eligible to earn points. Eligible winners can unlock a share of 300,000 WAL in token vouchers. 

Complete all of the following tasks: 
Task 1: Follow the project’s account on Binance Square
Task 2: Follow the project’s account on X
Complete any of the Binance Square post tasks: 
Task 3: Create a short post on Binance Square with the following criteria: A minimum of 100 characters about the project;Use the hashtag #Walrus , $WAL and mention the project’s account @Walrus 🦭/acc ;Content should be relevant to Walrus and original to be eligible.
Or
Task 4: Create a long article on Binance Square with the following criteria: A minimum of 500 characters about the project;Use the hashtag #Walrus , $WAL and mention the project’s account @Walrus 🦭/acc l;Content should be relevant to Walrus and original to be eligible.

Complete the X post task: 
Task 5: Create content on X with the following criteria: A minimum of 100 characters about the project;Use the hashtag #Walrus , $WAL and mention the project’s account @WalrusProtocolContent should be relevant to Walrus and original to be eligible.
Complete any of the trade tasks: 
Task 6: Trade a minimum of $10 equivalent in WAL in a single transaction on Binance Spot.
Or
Task 7: Trade a minimum of $10 equivalent in WAL in a single transaction on Binance Futures.
Or
Task 8: Trade a minimum of $10 equivalent in WAL in a single transaction on Binance Convert.

Notes:
Eligible users who have met the aforementioned criteria will earn points for each successfully completed task, which will be used to determine their rank on the leaderboard. Please be advised that trading fees may apply and are subject to the final execution of the transaction. These fees will not be included in the calculation of your trade volume. We recommend that you take these fees into account when planning your transactions and avoid placing trades of exactly $10 to ensure accurate processing.
Reward Structure: 
Eligible users are ranked based on the last 30 days leaderboard result at the Activity end date to qualify for the 300,000 WAL reward pool, as per the table below.

Note: *Chinese creators refer to users who predominantly (90%) produce content in Mandarin Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) within the last 90 days. For more information, please refer to the Terms and Conditions.

A short recap of what it is–CreatorPad is a new monetization platform for Binance Square creators to earn rewards for high-quality content creation. Creators can participate in various campaigns organized by Web3 projects to earn generous rewards. They can also track their mindshare score and rankings on the CreatorPad Mindshare leaderboard in real time. Unlike traditional paid project promotions, CreatorPad operates with full transparency. Each campaign’s task details, airdrop rules, and reward criteria are clearly listed on the campaign page, allowing users to review them anytime to ensure all content comply with established standards. With our first major update after receiving lots of valuable community feedback, here are the changes we’ve made!
Update 1: Introducing Square Points
Square Points is a point system that ranks creators in leaderboards; to earn points, you can complete tasks under different project campaigns. It is a scoring system designed to evaluate user activity within Binance Square that determines the eligibility and ranking for different campaigns.

Square Points are calculated daily based on the sum of points from your content, engagement, and trades on Binance exchange (wallet excluded).Points summary would be updated daily on CreatorPad at 09:00 UTC.In project campaigns, the total points on the leaderboard are a cumulative sum of daily points over the campaign period.To check your daily points breakdown, click on the Project leaderboard and it will be displayed under “My Points” 
Update 2: Bonus points for effective engagement and trades
You can receive up to 5 points per day per project from engagement received by a verified account on the day of posting eligible project content.
Effective Engagement

If we discover the same batch of creators misusing the engagement bonus by engaging with the same batch of users, you will be DISQUALIFIED from the project campaign or CreatorPad. If you see any creators involved in this activity, please report them via the report survey form: Follow bonus points will only be counted once per creator, and likes will only be counted once per post.
You can receive up to 25 points per day per project from the effective trades you've made on the Binance exchange (wallet excluded).
Effective Trade

Only new trades and position openings after the campaign launch date will be counted.For the project campaign, only trades involving the tokens specified on the campaign page will be counted.Both buying and selling tokens contribute to the Square bonus points at the current stage.
Update 3: Non-eligible content and point reduction for lower quality content

Update 4: Report Survey Form
We’ve introduced a new CreatorPad misconduct form for reporting creators or accounts you suspect of violating our Terms and Conditions, including using AI-generated content to unfairly farm rewards or engagement, or employing bots to manipulate campaign results. 
We will carefully review every report and will respond via your registered feed secretary within 7 days.
Update 5: Removing the Creator Leaderboard
The Square Creator Leaderboard has been removed. Points and rankings will now be based only on participation in specific project campaigns. Each leaderboard will be tagged to a specific project campaign for clearer competition.

Screenshot Sharing with Source Labels is a new feature on Binance Square that lets users capture and share screenshots from key Binance App pages—like trading, assets, and profit & loss analysis. It’s an easy way to showcase your activity and connect with the community.
Every shared screenshot automatically includes a label underneath that reads: “Sourced by user sharing on Binance”. This tag confirms the image was taken directly from the Binance app, adding transparency and building trust with viewers.
Here’s how screenshots with the source label stand out from regular ones:

The image with source label was obtained via direct share after a user took a screenshot or downloaded content generated on Binance. Binance has not verified the authenticity or accuracy of this image and cannot guarantee it has not been altered. This label is for reference only. Please conduct your own research before making any decisions based on it.Please make sure to upgrade your Binance App to version 3.7 or above to access this feature.
Why It Matters
One-Click Sharing Made Easy
Simply take a screenshot within the Binance app and share it directly to Binance Square. The system automatically adds the “Sourced by user sharing on Binance” tag to your screenshot.
Build Trust with Source Labels
The source label helps users quickly recognize screenshots taken directly from the Binance app, adding transparency and fostering trust among viewers. This makes it easier to discover trading pros and quality creators, boosting their credibility and helping them grow strong, engaged communities.
How to Post Screenshots with Source Labels??
Capture a Screenshot in the Binance App
When you capture screenshots from key Binance app pages—like trading (spot, futures, Alpha), assets, or P&L analysis—a pop-up will appear immediately. It guides you to share your screenshot directly to Binance Square with one tap.
Select “Post with image source label”
Tap the [Square] option in the pop-up to open the editor. The system will automatically recognize your screenshot and add the “Sourced by user sharing on Binance” label.
Publish and Share Your Insights
Add your insights, then hit [Publish]. Your post will appear on Binance Square with the image source label, giving the community clear context.

FAQ
Do all screenshots get  “Sourced by user sharing on Binance” label automatically?
No. Only screenshots taken on specific Binance app pages (trading, assets, P&L analysis) and shared directly to Binance Square receive the label
Note: This feature is not yet available on all Binance app pages. Binance is actively working to expand support to more pages in the future. .
Can I upload or edit screenshots myself and still get the source label?
No. Only images directly shared from within the Binance app—such as screenshots taken or content downloaded there—will receive the label. Images uploaded externally or edited by users will not get the label.
Please note, Binance has not verified the authenticity or accuracy of these images and does not guarantee they have not been altered. The label is for reference only. Always conduct your own research before making any decisions based on shared content.
Does the image source label affect my privacy?
Not at all. The label simply indicates the screenshot’s source.  You can use the default image editing tools in the sharing component to remove sensitive info. Your personal data or account details won’t be exposed or stored.
