Binance CEO Richard Teng described 2024 as a pivotal year, noting the launch of a US ETF as a major step forward. He added that collaborative efforts are intensifying to provide more inclusive financial services.

Dubai Future Foundation CEO Khalfan Belhoul highlighted Dubai’s transformation from a complex region to a tech hub, driven by visionary leaders who embrace calculated risks. He noted that while Web3 lacks a clear definition, core values like privacy, security, and interoperability remain central, with new opportunities arising from Web3 and AI integration.

Dubai Blockchain Center CEO Dr. Marwan Alzarouni shared that blockchain has become mainstream in Dubai, thanks to early investments and strategic partnerships. "Dubai measures its success against its own progress, rather than other regions," he added, emphasizing that regulation is essential for blockchain’s journey into the mainstream.
“El Salvador’s Vision as a Digital Asset Hub”
JC Reyes, President of El Salvador’s National Digital Asset Commission, outlined the country’s goal to become a crypto and digital asset center under President Bukele’s vision. Reyes mentioned regulatory updates focused on progressive and sustainable frameworks, highlighting the importance of education and knowledge.

SGB CEO Shawn Chan emphasized that regulation and licensing are vital to the industry’s future, creating more opportunities for institutional involvement. Payment systems and stablecoins, he added, are instrumental in this growth phase.

Binance CTO Rohit Wad shared Binance’s goal of reaching one billion users through a robust KYC system, AI-driven infrastructure, and innovation. He confirmed that Binance complies with 30 regulatory frameworks across 20 countries.
