#greekpolicebustcryptoscamringarrest17 "Double your money in 50 days." 10,000 people walked in.
Greek police arrested 17 people in an alleged crypto pyramid. Nine were military personnel, and police estimate about $8 million collected.
The promise was one sentence: double your money in 50 days.
Members earned bonuses for bringing in new people.
Then the withdrawals stopped.
Let me tell you something from my own trading.
Every deposit I made gave me 20% to 50%.
And even that made me play. I never listened to myself to get out.
Now imagine someone promising 100%, in 50 days, with "almost no risk."
That is not a plan. That is bait.
Crypto is not the problem here. The promise is.
What I CAN do
Ask: "Where does this return actually come from?" Check whether the platform has real authorization Never bring friends in for a reward Send only the amount I can lose completely
What I CANNOT do
Cannot tell a scam from a real platform by how professional the app looks Cannot trust a profit screen, because numbers on a screen are not money Cannot get money back easily once I have sent it Cannot call anyone guilty yet. These are allegations under investigation.
Real investing never needs a guarantee.
Guaranteed. Fast. Risk-free. These three words never go together.
