During my life, I have lost money due to bad choices or lent it out, and I have always lamented my fate, the unreliability of others, my excessive trust, or foolishness.
It is completely natural that people do not return your money or that you make poor decisions; that is just how things are in the world.
I cried that I lost a fortune, but instead, I should have had two new ones on the table long ago. My thinking was set up completely wrong.

For many years, I went to work and thought that when I worked hard, I was doing the right thing and earning money to live normally.
All that time, it never occurred to me that employment is a scam. That the cleverly set salary is just a bond, just a pathetic drug that the company uses to keep me from leaving immediately so they wouldn't have to look for someone the next day.

I sit here and wonder if I can have things under control. Can I? Are our lives really in our hands? I'm starting to think not. Someone in the background is pulling the strings. Mixing the cards. Creating a third option that no one ever considered. And setting traps.
