A netizen reported to WEEX that she was approached by a user named Lei Zhang on Facebook. They had a pleasant conversation and quickly exchanged LINE contacts, leading to more frequent interactions. After becoming familiar with each other, one day, the other party suddenly brought up investment topics, claiming they could help her make money by following the market trends.

Subsequently, the victim registered an account on the WeeKDeFi platform through the link provided by Lei Zhang and made a deposit. The first copy-trading transaction was successful, and the process of applying for a small withdrawal went smoothly, leading her to gradually lower her guard.

Afterward, the other party continuously encouraged the victim to increase her investment amount, stating that there was a recent surge in the market that could multiply her principal several times. They even urged her to liquidate her other assets and invest everything in the WeeKDeFi platform. The victim believed that this was a rare opportunity and managed to gather over $40,000 in total, which indeed resulted in profits of over $240,000 after a few operations, just as they had said.
