Rarible Expands to Injective: Bringing Next-Generation NFT Trading to the Blockchain Built for Fi...
Rarible, the fastest-growing NFT marketplace, is launching on Injective!
This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in bringing next-generation NFT infrastructure to one of Web3's most advanced financial ecosystems, creating new opportunities for creators, traders, and builders within the vibrant Injective community.
The Rise of Rarible: Setting New Standards for NFT Trading
Since its launch in April 2025, Rarible has achieved remarkable growth, attracting over 1.24 million users and facilitating more than 15 million NFT transactions. This explosive adoption demonstrates the market's hunger for a more efficient, trader-focused NFT experience that prioritizes speed, performance, and user satisfaction.
Rarible represents a fundamental shift in NFT marketplace design. Unlike traditional platforms built for an earlier era of the space, Rarible was architected from the ground up to meet the demands of modern NFT trading. The platform features real-time minting, lightning-fast UI, and a modular backend designed to scale, removing the friction that has historically plagued NFT marketplaces.
Multichain NFT Experience: Native Access Without Compromises
One of Rarible's core value propositions is delivering a multichain NFT experience tailored for creators, traders, and builders with native access to NFTs—no bridges, no workarounds. This approach addresses one of the most significant pain points in the NFT ecosystem: the fragmentation across different blockchain networks.
Traditional NFT marketplaces often require users to navigate complex bridging processes, pay additional fees, and manage assets across multiple interfaces. Rarible's multichain architecture eliminates these friction points by providing unified access to NFTs across different blockchain ecosystems, allowing users to discover, trade, and manage their digital assets from a single, streamlined interface.
For creators, this means the ability to mint and distribute NFTs across multiple networks without technical complexity. Traders benefit from access to deeper liquidity pools and more diverse asset categories. Builders can leverage the platform's infrastructure to create innovative applications that tap into assets from across the Web3 ecosystem.
"Injective is one of the most advanced Layer 1s in Web3, and its community has long been on the cutting edge of decentralized finance. Bringing NFTs into that mix opens up new creative and financial frontiers. We're proud to support the nINJas as the go-to marketplace for NFTs on Injective," said Jonathan Colón, VP of Growth at Rarible.
Expanding the NFT Ecosystem on Injective
Rarible's launch on Injective significantly expands the blockchain's NFT ecosystem beyond its current offerings. Rarible brings additional capabilities bringing additional utility to Injective like:
Advanced trading tools designed for professional NFT traders
Real-time analytics and market data for informed decision-making
Streamlined creator tools for launching and managing NFT collections
Cross-chain asset discovery bringing NFTs from multiple blockchains into the Injective ecosystem
This expansion aligns with Injective's broader vision of becoming the comprehensive infrastructure layer for Web3 finance, encompassing not just traditional DeFi applications but also the growing NFT-Fi sector that bridges digital collectibles with financial services.
A Renaissance of NFT-Fi on Injective
The integration of Rarible with Injective opens new possibilities for NFT-Fi applications—financial services built around NFT assets. Injective's existing DeFi infrastructure, including lending protocols, derivatives markets, and automated market makers, can now be extended to support NFT-backed financial products.
Potential innovations include NFT-collateralized lending, where users can borrow against their NFT collections; fractionalized NFT trading through Injective's orderbook infrastructure; and NFT derivatives that allow for more sophisticated trading strategies around digital collectibles.
These developments position Injective at the forefront of the convergence between traditional finance, DeFi, and the emerging NFT economy, creating new opportunities for both institutional and retail participants.
As the fastest-growing NFT marketplace expands to one of Web3's most advanced Layer 1 blockchains, the Injective community gains access to next-generation NFT trading tools while maintaining the high-performance, low-cost, and novel assets that has made Injective a leader in decentralized finance. This collaboration exemplifies the innovative spirit driving Web3 forward, where specialized platforms come together to create more powerful, user-friendly experiences that push the boundaries of what's possible in digital asset trading and ownership.

Injective Pioneers the First Onchain Digital Asset Treasury With SBET
Injective is redefining the future of global markets.
Today, Injective is releasing onchain SBET, marking the first onchain digital asset treasury (DAT). This is introduces an entirely new asset class that can power programmable finance from day one. SBET transforms a static corporate Ether reserve into a living, yield bearing onchain instrument. This creates a multi‑billion dollar opportunity for Injective as treasuries, equities and balance sheet assets begin migrating to programmable rails. Injective has consistently led categories before others even imagined them, from onchain equities to today’s digital asset treasuries that combine institutional scale with composable DeFi utility.
Injective: A New Foundation for Programmable Onchain Treasuries and Equities
The SBET DAT is built using Injective’s novel iAssets framework, enabling the creation of real world assets with day one utility.
Unlike simple wrappers, iAssets launch with native programmability, governance hooks, integrated liquidity and cross protocol composability. This architecture powered the earlier release of onchain Nvidia stock with 24 hour trading, margin, and derivatives support. With SBET, Injective applies the same capabilities to digital asset treasuries, giving holders access to staking yield, real time trading and use as collateral in DeFi strategies. The result is a corporate reserve that no longer sits idle but actively fuels liquidity and innovation across the Injective ecosystem.
The Digital Asset Treasury Market: Surging Flows and Market Momentum
A digital asset treasury token represents ownership in onchain reserves of digital assets such as ETH or BTC held by a corporate or institutional entity. These tokens are typically backed one to one by their underlying assets and preserve full economic exposure while enabling blockchain native benefits. In the case of SBET, it provides transparent exposure to SharpLink Gaming’s growing Ethereum treasury. Over the past month, SharpLink has acquired an additional 176,270 ETH, valued at approximately 463 million dollars, bringing its total holdings to over 1 billion dollars worth of ETH, all of which is staked to generate additional yield.
This aggressive treasury strategy has fueled major stock momentum. Shares of SBET surged over 400% following the initial ETH treasury announcement led by ConsenSys and Joe Lubin. In mid July, positive sentiment around Ethereum spilled over into SBET stock, which jumped more than 29% amid rising ETH prices.
Onchain Digital Asset Treasury: A New Era of Finance
Bringing a digital asset treasury stock such as SBET unlocks a fundamentally new model for how markets can work. Through Injective’s iAssets framework, SBET is no longer a static equity but a programmable financial primitive. From the very first day of issuance it can be deployed across lending markets, used as collateral, incorporated into derivatives, or embedded into entirely new structured products without the capital inefficiencies or settlement delays that exist in traditional finance.
This shift is not only technological but deeply structural. In legacy systems, access to innovative financial products is often gated by geography, intermediaries, and limited operating hours. By moving digital asset treasury stocks onchain, Injective creates a system where anyone anywhere can gain direct exposure and interact with these instruments on a continuous basis. It enables instantaneous settlement, global liquidity, and seamless composability, all while maintaining transparent backing in real time.
The result is a market that is more equitable and inclusive. Users no longer have to rely on legacy brokers or clearinghouses to participate in opportunities like SBET. They can trade, stake, and build strategies directly from their wallets, without layers of unnecessary friction. Injective’s vision is to merge the traditional and onchain worlds, creating a financial system that is not only open and accessible but also far more efficient. The launch of SBET as an onchain digital asset treasury is a clear demonstration of that mission, showing how Injective is setting new standards for what an equity or treasury product can achieve in the modern era.
Injective’s Strategic Partnerships, Work with the U.S. Government and Institutional Expansion
Injective is driving new inroads with institutions through the recent filing for the Canary Staked INJ ETF with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. This filing would allow investors to gain regulated exposure to INJ along with staking rewards. Injective Labs also submitted a policy recommendation letter to the SEC’s Crypto Task Force, highlighting its commitment to shaping forward‑looking regulation and bridging traditional markets with Onchain innovation.
Beyond treasuries, Injective has launched major onchain equities such as Nvidia, Meta and Robinhood as iAssets, alongside commodities like gold, silver and oil, as well as FX markets that operate with continuous global access. These milestones showcase Injective’s ability to unify diverse traditional markets within a single onchain ecosystem.
The Injective Council further strengthens this vision, bringing together partners including Google Cloud, BitGo and Galaxy Digital to guide the network’s growth. Together these efforts position Injective as a leader in connecting institutions, regulators and builders to a new era of finance.
A Future Powered by Injective and INJ
For the first time in history, a corporate digital asset treasury is fully live onchain, powered by Injective. Ethereum’s upcoming ten year anniversary has reignited global interest in ETH as a reserve asset, making the timing of SBET’s launch as an iAsset even more meaningful. SBET is only the beginning. Injective’s roadmap already spans additional digital asset treasuries and new classes of programmable instruments, all designed to launch with full iAssets functionality and immediate utility.
With its proven infrastructure, deep institutional connections, and a rapidly expanding ecosystem that already includes equities, commodities, FX markets and now digital asset treasuries, Injective is doing far more than introducing new products. Injective is building the foundation for a financial system where traditional and Onchain assets converge seamlessly.
SBET is a clear demonstration of this vision. It shows that corporate treasuries can be liquid, transparent, and productive from day one. It proves that anyone, anywhere, can gain access to instruments that were once confined to closed balance sheets. And it positions Injective at the center of a movement that is reshaping global finance itself.
The future of finance is being written today, and Injective is leading the way.

Canary Capital Files for First U.S. Staked INJ ETF With the SEC
Today marks a pivotal moment in Injective’s journey toward mainstream adoption as Canary Capital, a leading digital asset fund manager, officially filed with the U S Securities and Exchange Commission to launch the Canary Staked INJ ETF, the first exchange traded fund to offer regulated exposure to staked INJ, the native token of Injective.
As of now, INJ is one of the only major assets with an official ETF filing with the SEC. The proposed Canary ETF would provide retail and institutional investors with direct exposure to staked INJ through a regulated investment vehicle, effectively bridging the gap between traditional and onchain finance.
Background on Canary Capital
The timing of this filing is particularly significant. Canary Capital has established itself as a pioneer in the crypto ETF space, having submitted applications for only a select few digital asset ETFs including XRP and Solana. The broader market is showing surging appetite with spot Bitcoin funds pulling in 1.18 billion dollars of net inflows in a single day on July 10, 2025 and ETH ETFs seeing 703 million dollars in a single week. This expansion strategy demonstrates the firm’s commitment to bringing institutional grade access to promising blockchain ecosystems.
Institutional Momentum Behind INJ
The timing of the ETF filing also coincides with Injective's expanding engagement with regulators and policymakers. Injective Labs recently submitted a comprehensive policy comment to the SEC's Crypto Task Force, addressed directly to Commissioner Hester Peirce, outlining a pragmatic framework for regulating DeFi protocols without stifling innovation. This proactive approach to regulatory engagement demonstrates Injective's commitment to responsible growth within the evolving regulatory landscape.
Injective's Policy Commentary Featured on the SEC Website
The filing comes as Injective continues to strengthen its position in the institutional landscape. Recent developments include the addition of major players such as Google Cloud, T-Mobile and BitGo, the world's largest staking platform with over $100 billion in institutional trust, as an Injective Council members. This institutional-grade infrastructure provides the foundation necessary for products like ETFs to operate with the security and reliability that traditional investors demand.
Crypto Week in Congress: A Game-Changing Regulatory Framework
This filing comes at the most critical point in the American political system regarding digital assets. The week has been dubbed Crypto Week in Congress as lawmakers take up three landmark bills that could define the future of the industry:
CLARITY Act — defines whether tokens are securities or commodities and sets clear oversight roles for the SEC and CFTC
GENIUS Act — creates the first federal framework for payment stablecoins, requiring full reserves and transparency
Anti‑CBDC Surveillance State Act — prohibits the Federal Reserve from issuing a retail central bank digital currency
Together these three bills mark a historic legislative push to define the rules of the road for staking, token classification, stablecoin integrity, and digital privacy. Their progress during Crypto Week will determine whether Injective’s Canary Staked INJ ETF and similar products can move forward within a stable, regulated framework.
Increasing Injective Adoption Among Institutional Circles
This announcement follows Injective's successful track record with compliant investment vehicles. The European launch of 21Shares's AINJ exchange-traded earlier demonstrated strong demand for regulated Injective investment vehicles. The U.S. market, with its deeper capital pools and more sophisticated institutional infrastructure, represents an even greater opportunity for Injective adoption.
The staked nature of the proposed ETF is particularly noteworthy. Unlike traditional crypto ETFs that simply hold tokens, this product would actively participate in Injective's proof-of-stake consensus mechanism, generating staking rewards for investors while contributing to network security. This approach aligns perfectly with Injective's vision of creating sustainable, economically aligned incentives for network participants.
Looking Forward: The Future of Finance
As Eric Chen, Co-Founder of Injective, noted in response to the filing:
"Injective was purpose-built to unite traditional and decentralized finance. This ETF integrates staking into a regulated format, giving both institutions and individuals secure access to the new future of finance"
The Canary Staked INJ ETF represents more than just a new investment product; it's a bridge between the traditional financial system and the decentralized future that Injective is building. By providing regulated access to staked INJ, this ETF could introduce a new generation of investors to the benefits of blockchain technology while maintaining the security and compliance standards they expect.
As the digital asset ecosystem continues to mature and regulatory frameworks like the CLARITY Act provide much-needed transparency, products like the Canary Staked INJ ETF will play a crucial role in bringing institutional capital to the most innovative blockchain networks. For Injective, this represents another significant milestone in the journey toward mainstream adoption and the realization of its vision as the premier destination for institutional-grade onchain finance.
The future of finance is being written today, and with the Canary Staked INJ ETF, Injective continues to lead the charge toward a more open, accessible, and efficient financial system for everyone.

MultiVM: A Unified Development Environment
Injective’s MultiVM architecture allows smart contracts across different virtual machines to coexist, interact, and compose in a single runtime. EVM and WASM contracts can share state and assets through the MultiVM Token Standard (MTS), which removes the need for bridges or token duplication entirely.
This unification means that developers no longer have to choose between performance and compatibility. A dApp can be built using Solidity while leveraging Injective’s advanced modules like the central limit orderbook or frequent batch auctions. It can call into WASM contracts, use WASM-based governance, or deploy logic that bridges both environments by default. Everything becomes interoperable by design.
As Injective continues to break down barriers for builders, platforms like iBuild (an upcoming no-code smart contract creation interface) will make onchain development even more accessible. Unveiled at the first Injective Summit alongside prominent leaders like New York City Mayor Eric Adams, iBuild is part of the broader mission to ensure that anyone, regardless of technical background, can launch and scale on Injective.

From Wallet to Chain: Understanding Transactions and Accounts on Injective
Overview
In a blockchain, an account represents a unique entity (like a user or smart contract) identified by an address, which holds a balance of tokens or assets and is secured by cryptographic keys. Transactions are digitally signed instructions initiated by accounts to transfer assets, update the blockchain's state, or execute smart contract functions. Together, accounts and transactions form the backbone of blockchain operations: accounts maintain ownership and state, while transactions drive the network's activity, ensuring secure, transparent, and immutable record-keeping as they are validated and added to the distributed ledger.
The Injective Network, a Layer-1 blockchain built for next-gen finance. Designed to deliver high-speed, scalable, and interoperable solutions, Injective stands out with its ability to process transactions efficiently while maintaining a decentralized ethos. In this deep tech dive, we’ll explore the intricacies of transactions and accounts on the Injective Network.
Transactions on the Injective Network
Transactions are the lifeblood of any blockchain, and Injective’s design prioritizes efficiency, security, and flexibility. Here’s how they work under the hood.
Transaction Flow: From Preparation to Finality
Every transaction on Injective follows a structured three-step process: preparation, signing, and broadcasting. This flow ensures that transactions are secure, verifiable, and seamlessly integrated into the blockchain.
1. Preparation
A transaction begins with defining its purpose, such as transferring INJ tokens, staking, or interacting with a smart contract. Developers or users craft a message (e.g., `MsgSend` for token transfers) using Injective’s SDK tools. This message includes critical details like the sender’s address, recipient’s address, and amount. The transaction is then enriched with metadata, such as the account sequence number, chain ID (e.g., `injective-1` for mainnet), and a timeout height to prevent indefinite delays. For Ethereum-native wallets like MetaMask, the transaction is converted into EIP-712 typed data, Injective supports this standard to ensure compatibility with Ethereum’s signing mechanisms.
2. Signing
Once prepared, the transaction must be cryptographically signed to prove authenticity and authorization. Injective supports multiple signing methods, including Amino (Cosmos-native) and EIP-712 for Ethereum wallets. The signer—typically the account holder—uses their private key to generate a signature. This signature is appended to the transaction, ensuring it cannot be tampered with. For example, a user sending 0.01 INJ would sign the EIP-712 typed data via MetaMask, linking their Injective address (e.g., `inj1...`) to their Ethereum address.
3. Broadcasting
The signed transaction is then broadcast to the Injective network via a REST API endpoint (e.g., `https://sentry.tm.injective.network:443`). Validators, who secure the network through staking INJ, process the transaction using the Tendermint consensus protocol. Tendermint’s Byzantine Fault Tolerance (https://blog.injective.com/understanding-injective-architecture-and-consensus/) ensures that the transaction is agreed upon by a majority of validators and included in a block. With block times averaging 0.71s, transactions achieve near-instant finality—meaning once confirmed, they’re set in stone.
Transactions to Modules
On Injective, a transaction is a signed data structure that contains one or more messages, along with metadata like fees, gas limits, and signatures. Messages are module-specific instructions that define the action to be performed (e.g., sending tokens, placing an order, staking).
One good example of this is when interacting with different modules by `injectived`
# send a transaction to exchange module to place a spot limit order.
#send a transaction to wasm module to execute smart contract logic.
injectived tx wasm execute ...
Zero Gas Fee
One of Injective’s standout features is its approach to gas fees. Unlike other blockchains, where users pay gas for every transaction, Injective eliminates network gas fees for end-users on its DEX applications like Helix. This is made possible by Injective’s API nodes, which handle transaction relaying and data indexing without charging gas. For developers or users interacting directly with the chain (e.g., staking or governance), an average $0.0003 transaction fee applies, payable in INJ, this is negligible compared to Ethereum’s costs.
MEV Resistance
Injective tackles Miner-Extractable Value (MEV), a common issue in order-book-based DEXs. MEV occurs when miners or validators reorder transactions for profit, such as front-running large trades. Here are solutions from Injective:
1. Frequent Batch Auction (FBA): Unlike traditional order book exchanges that match trades continuously, FBA groups transactions into fixed time intervals and matches them all at once at the end. This removes the time advantage that front-runners typically exploit.
2. Sealed bids: Transactions remain hidden until the auction ends, preventing participants from seeing others’ orders in advance or adjusting their strategies. This privacy removes the information advantage that MEV actors rely on. Think of it like a queue where no one can see what others are ordering until it’s too late to change their own.
By mitigating MEV, Injective ensures a level playing field for traders.
Interoperability in Action
Transactions on Injective aren’t limited to its native chain. The network’s bridges—such as the Peggy bridge for Ethereum and Wormhole for broader IBC ecosystems—enable cross-chain asset transfers. For instance, an ERC-20 token can be locked in a smart contract on Ethereum, relayed via a Peggy bridge, and minted as a native asset on Injective. This process, while complex, is abstracted for users through the Injective Hub, making cross-chain transactions as simple as a few clicks.
Accounts on the Injective Network
Accounts are the entities that initiate and receive transactions on Injective. They’re more than just addresses—they’re the backbone of user interaction with the network.
Account Structure
Injective accounts are derived from a public-private key pair, following the Cosmos ecosystem’s Bech32 address format (prefixed with `inj`). For example, an address might look like `inj1hkhdaj2a2clmq5jq6mspsggcdwcdaz5yxq5gkn`. Each account has:
- **Public Key**: Used to verify signatures.
- **Private Key**: Kept secret, used for signing transactions.
- **Account Number**: A unique identifier assigned upon account creation.
- **Sequence Number**: A counter that increments with each transaction to prevent replay attacks.
Accounts are linked to Ethereum addresses via a deterministic mapping, allowing users to use the same key pair across both ecosystems. For instance, an Ethereum address (`0x...`) can be converted to an Injective address (`inj1...`) using tools from the Injective SDK. Example can be found at:
To derive Bech32 address from private key/mnemonic phrase:
import { Wallet } from 'ethers'
import { Address as EthereumUtilsAddress } from 'ethereumjs-util'
You can learn more on Injective documentation: https://docs.injective.network/getting-started/wallet/accounts
Account Types and Management
There are 3 main types of Addresses/PubKeys available by default on Injective:
Addresses and Keys for accounts that identify users (i.e., the sender of a message). They are derived using the eth_secp256k1 curve.
Addresses and Keys for validator operators, which identify the operators of validators. They are derived using the eth_secp256k1 curve.
Addresses and Keys for consensus nodes, which identify the validator nodes participating in consensus. They are derived using the ed25519 curve.
Users manage accounts through wallets like MetaMask, Keplr, or Ledger, which integrate with the Injective Hub—a one-stop portal for staking, governance, and bridging. The Hub simplifies tasks like delegating INJ to validators or voting on governance proposals, all tied to the account’s INJ balance. `injectived` CLI can also help to manage accounts, for more details you can refer to this page: https://docs.injective.network/toolkits/injectived
Staking and Governance
Accounts staking INJ can participate in network security and governance. Staking involves locking INJ with a validator to earn rewards. The staked amount contributes to the account’s voting power, allowing holders to influence protocol upgrades, market listings, and fee structures. For example, a proposal to list a new trading pair on Helix requires a quorum of votes from INJ-staked accounts.
Security and Privacy
Injective prioritizes account security with advanced cryptography. Private keys never leave the user’s control, and transactions are signed locally before broadcasting. The network’s PoS consensus, combined with Tendermint’s BFT, ensures that accounts are protected from double-spending or unauthorized access, provided users safeguard their keys.
Conclusion
Understanding the structure and function of accounts and transactions is fundamental to know how the Injective Network powers decentralized finance. With its purpose-built architecture, Injective not only ensures secure and transparent interactions through cryptographic account management and transaction validation, but also achieves high performance and interoperability that sets it apart from other Layer-1 chains.
