Last night turned into a liquidation night for me... ⚡
All three of my open short positions — $ALCH, $LAYER, and $BROCCOLIF3B — got liquidated. 😔
Just yesterday, I was sitting on unrealized profits across all three positions.
But when prices started to spike, my sell orders triggered, doubling the size of my shorts way too quickly — faster than I could react. 🚀
Suddenly, I found myself holding oversized short positions that were already underwater. At that point, there wasn’t much to do — except trying to trim the losses during minor pullbacks.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t do enough in time.
The final blow came when BROCCOLIF3B pumped 50% in just one minute, leaving no real chance without a much bigger balance. 📉 I still believe these altcoins will eventually crash hard, but sadly, my positions won't be around to see it.
At the end of the day, it was another painful but powerful lesson:
Risk management is everything. 🎯
Never underestimate how quickly the market can move — especially with volatile low-cap altcoins.
🔵 Going forward, I’m adjusting my strategy:
From now on, I plan to withdraw at least half of my profits every week to lock in gains and better protect my capital.
Small, consistent wins are the real path to survival in this game. 🛡️
👉 Stay safe out there, traders. Manage your size. Protect your profits. The next opportunity will come — and we'll be ready.
Just closed my $BABY short position with a +28$ profit in about 1 hour! 📈⚡
Given the extremely high -2% funding fee, it was crucial to manage the position carefully and take profits early. 🧠💸
In these kinds of setups, funding pressure can erode gains very quickly — that's why it's often smarter to secure profits early rather than risk getting stuck. 🎯
There's always a chance for a second entry if the price action aligns again — no need to rush or force trades. 🧘♂️
For now, I'm happy to lock in a solid win and patiently wait for the next clean opportunity! ✅✨ #baby #RiskManagement
🚀 Trading Update! Already 5 days holding my $LAYER short position! 📉
Two days ago, I partially closed half of the trade and secured +60$ profit ✅.
However, the market surprised me — LAYER pumped 20% overnight! 🚀
It broke through my sell orders placed in the 1.6–1.8 range and even touched 1.99! 📈
At the worst moment, my unrealized PNL reached -160$ 😅 — but I kept my cool and didn’t close the position. Instead, I was managing the entry price by scaling in smartly. 🔄
Now, the price has pulled back and my unrealized PNL is around -65$ — looking much healthier! 💪
Also, yesterday my old short limit orders on $ALCH were triggered! 🎯
At first, the entry was about 10% worse than planned (around -60$ PNL), but today ALCH’s price dropped back, approaching my entry zone. ⬇️
As for $BROCCOLIF3B, it’s already the 10th day I’m holding the short position 🍀.
I've been partially closing profits over time, but yesterday’s price spike led to an increase in my position as more of my sell orders got filled. 📊
Still managing it carefully, trusting the overall trend! 🧠
✅ Patience and strategy are key!
Let's see how the market plays out in the coming days. 🚀
Today's Trading Update: Successfully closed my $LTC and $ADA long positions with a solid +90$ profit! ✅ Maybe I exited a little early as prices kept climbing, but securing profits is always the priority. Meanwhile, I opened a short position on $ALCH which is currently sitting at -45$. Staying focused, managing both profits and risks carefully. Keeping a close eye on the market and ready to adjust if needed! Let's keep pushing forward! 🚀
My Lessons After 2 Weeks of Trading from $100 to $665
Trading is a real battle of patience and discipline. ⚔️
In the last two weeks, I turned my $100 starting balance into $665. It wasn’t about luck — it was about learning and adapting every single day. 🚀 Here are the most important lessons I’ve learned so far:
🔹 Take profits partially — Don’t wait for the "perfect" exit. Secure gains step-by-step.
🔹 Manage risk wisely — Never risk more than you are ready to lose on a single trade.
🔹 Stay flexible — If the market changes direction, adapt qu
🔹 LTC and $ADA long positions are still open with a combined unrealized PNL of +$32. Slowly closing small parts. 🛒 🔹The $BROCCOLIF3B short position, which I've been holding for a while, has already brought a realized PNL of $103. 🔹The $LAYER short position is also performing well, with a realized PNL of $29.
Current balance: $665! 🙌
Two weeks ago, I started this journey with just $100. Every small win adds up! 💪 Let’s see how far we can go from here! How's your trading going lately? 🔥 #FutureTarding
⚡ Navigating Through Uncertainty: Today's Trading Update ⚡
Still holding and partially realizing profits from my $BROCCOLIF3B and $LAYER short positions.
Today, Bitcoin dropped sharply, dragging altcoins down too. During the dip, I opened new long positions on $LTC and $ADA . Unfortunately, my timing was off, and prices continued to fall. Currently:
This has been one of my most stressful positions — a week ago I lost -$130 on it, and now I’ve finally recovered and even flipped it into solid profit.
But here’s the dilemma...
🔹 Should I close now and lock in the gain?
🔹 Or should I hold a bit longer and try to stretch the profit — risking another wild swing?
The chart is looking shaky, but the trend still favors downside. Curious to hear what you all would do in this situation 👇
After Bitcoin’s recent drop, a slight bounce was expected — so I opened long positions on $ADA and $LTC ADA closed quickly with a modest +$4 gain. I’m still managing the LTC long and gradually taking partial profits.
Meanwhile, it’s been 5 days holding my short on $BROCCOLIF3B. I’m up +$60 but not closing it yet. Why? Just a week ago, I lost -130$ on the same token, and I want to recover smart — not panic-close small gains.
BROCCOLIF3B has tricky moves, but with careful risk management, I’m staying in control.
Yesterday was a rollercoaster for the crypto world – $BTC surged to $88,500, triggering a rise in altcoins as well. This put my $GRASS and $BROCCOLIF3B short positions at risk of liquidation.
⚡ Had to manage positions wisely: I made the right buy-sell moves at crucial moments, securing a $62 profit on GRASS. As for BROCCOLIF3B, it’s still holding around the same price and hasn't turned profitable yet – current unrealized PNL: -$17.
🚀 It was a tough but valuable lesson – timely decisions are key! Looking forward to new opportunities!
Trading Day Update: Holding Positions & Market Uncertainty
It's been two days since I opened a short position on $BROCCOLIF3B, but I haven't been able to close it in profit yet. After closing my $LAYER short, I opened a short position on $GRASS, but unfortunately, I misread the market direction and I'm currently in a losing position on this trade as well.
The market isn't always predictable, and sometimes patience is key. Let's see how things play out. What’s your strategy when facing uncertain positions?
