Stronghold Shareholders Approve Merger with Bitfarms Ltd.
According to PANews, Bitcoin mining company Stronghold has announced that its shareholders have overwhelmingly approved the planned merger with Bitfarms Ltd. The merger agreement was initially signed on August 21, 2024, and has since been revised.
With shareholder approval secured, the company expects the merger to be finalized by March 2025, pending the fulfillment or waiver of remaining conditions. A final report on the special shareholders' meeting results will be submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as an 8-K filing.
