Bitcoin (BTC) continues its downward trend, plummeting to the range of $113,000, moving away from its all-time high of $122,979.87 reached on July 14, while altcoins lose up to 6% this Friday, according to Binance.

Cryptocurrencies fall alongside major Wall Street indices in a session marked by tough announcements regarding tariff policy from the US, which negatively impacted global markets.

Thus, BTC retreats 3% and falls to $113,483, while Ethereum (ETH), the second most important cryptocurrency by market capitalization, depreciates 5.6% to $3,545.45. On a weekly basis, BTC falls 2.7% and ETH drops 3.6%.

Similarly, Ripple (XRP) drops 1.5% to $3.01, BNB (BNB) contracts 4.4% to $759.01, and Solana (SOL) decreases 5.4% to $165.69. The memecoin Dogecoin (DOGE) loses 3% to $0.2066 and Tron (TRX) falls 0.6% to $0.326.
