Hello! It's already Day 13 of my diary on Binance, and today I want to talk to you about something that helped me earn cents faster without being glued to the screen: automation.
📦 My story from yesterday
I sold a game account for 6 USDT and added it to my 0.06 USDT. With just that, I started earning more than before. Not because I have more luck, but because I use automated tools that notify or execute for me.
💡 What is automation in crypto?
These are functions that help you buy or sell without watching all the time. Some just notify you (like alerts), others directly do the work (like orders). I only use alerts and stop limit in Spot, because it's safer to start.
🔧 Tools I use and recommend (easy)
Price alerts: They notify you when a crypto reaches a value you're interested in. Example: I set an alert for PEPE at $0.00001100. When it dropped, it rang, I looked, and I bought. It helps to avoid FOMO.
Stop Limit: An order that activates if the price reaches a certain point. Example: If BONK rises to $0.00002300, I want to sell at $0.00002280 → I set it up and it executes automatically. It helped me earn cents faster.
🔁 Other methods I want to try
I want to research Recurring Purchase (buying 1 USDT of BTC every week), OCO (sell if it goes up or down), Trailing Stop (follow profits), and external bots. For example:
Recurring Purchase: I tell Binance to buy 1 USDT of BTC every Monday to HODL effortlessly.
OCO: I set a price to sell if it goes up and another if it goes down, and one is canceled if the other is fulfilled.
Trailing Stop: Follows the price up and sells if it drops a little, securing profits.
External bots: Programs that operate 24/7, but I still don’t understand them well.
But for now, I stick with the basics: alerts and stop limit, which give me control with my 6.06 USDT in Spot.
📌 Conclusion of Day 13
I learned that you don't need to be watching candles all day to trade well. With alerts and stop limit, I take advantage of good moments without rushing. Yesterday with my 6.06 USDT, I moved everything better than before. I use Spot because it's safer. At 7:56 PM today, July 13, I hope that some alert activates. If not, it's also fine not to do anything.
💬 Question of the day:
Do you use alerts or stop limit? Or would you like me to help you set them up with your favorite crypto?
