Five Years in the Crypto World | Stay Clear-headed, Stick to Your Principles. The crypto market dropped significantly today, but I'm used to this kind of volatility. #实盘交易策略
This account hasn't been updated in five years. Today, I had the impulse to update it. I started buying coins in 2019, transitioning from a naive and reckless attitude to being taught by the market to be more grounded. From speculation to investment, from early on focusing on intraday research of MCAD MVA to the Fibonacci Bollinger Band indicators, to now just looking at Duan Yongping, Franklin, and Buffett. I've experienced the bottom-tier junk groups, web 3.0, and the paid groups led by big names, only to find that those who really trade tend to be low-key, and those who make money are even more low-key—if they don’t mention it, no one will know.
The further I go, the more I believe in Duan Yongping's words: “Do the right thing, and do it right.” It's truly a pure and simple principle. If only I had followed Lao Duan on Xueqiu back in school, I could have recognized that I'm just a mediocre human being a few years earlier, sparing myself a lot of pain.
After all these years of effort, I still haven't made big money. When calculated by CAGR, it's no different from blindly investing in the US stock index. Moreover, the crypto world is full of stories about getting rich overnight from new coins, and there are plenty of grassroots heroes who gained fame overnight by shorting during market fluctuations, admired by countless $10 heroes. More often, there are ordinary people like me, struggling to barely beat beta with 💎👋🏻 and faith through one round of ups and downs after another, and sometimes affected by misunderstandings from family and friends. Or making a little profit and running, and worse, fantasizing about turning a bicycle into a motorcycle with 25x leverage, only to end up losing everything they gained through luck. I’m just speaking my mind as I think of things.
I hope to stay true to my original intention; it's for making money, but there's also a sense of faith involved.
The picture is today's real trading record; I’ll share again when it feels right.
