From today, I plan to start a long series - (Ice Cream Learning Trading from Scratch).

Record your learning process, the pitfalls you've encountered, the changes in your thinking, and a few little insights.

And I hope to leave a path that can be referenced for those who come after.

Why learn trading?

Because I increasingly feel that the underlying logic of the cryptocurrency market,

Ultimately, it still boils down to games, liquidity, and emotions.

Whether it’s trading coins, earning rewards, nodes, or various narratives,

Ultimately, it all revolves around one keyword - trading.

So, I think, even if it’s not to make money through trading,

At the very least, you must learn to survive in this unpredictable market.

What is trading?

The first time I heard the word 'trading', honestly, the image that popped into my mind was that of a sharply dressed person furiously typing at a computer.

The flashing numbers, the blinking green and red candlesticks, seem to suggest that anyone can attain financial freedom by just clicking a few times.

But only when you get close do you realize,

Trading is not as it appears.

It is not a lottery, not a privilege of gifted individuals, nor a heroic adventure full of excitement.

The essence of trading is only five words:

Using money to make decisions.

So what exactly is trading?

If I were to explain in the simplest way, trading is:

Take out a portion of your own money,

Taking on certain risks,

To seek certain returns,

And then, regardless of winning or losing, you must accept it.

Sounds simple, right?

But what's truly difficult is not 'buying and selling',

But to dare to act amidst uncertainty and be able to survive long-term.

It's like drifting in the vast sea,

No one can tell you which way the wind will blow in the next second,

What you can do is only -

Plan the route well,

Fill up on supplies,

Tighten the sails when encountering storms,

Be bold to set sail when the wind is favorable.

Trading is not about predicting the future, but about managing oneself.

Why do I want to learn trading?

Very simple, three reasons:

1. Trading is one of the few places where fair competition exists.

No matter what your education or background is,

In front of the market, everyone is equal.

No one will let your trades make more money just because you come from a prestigious school;

And just because you are a novice, your capital won't be automatically protected.

The market recognizes only two things: your cognition and your execution ability.

In this world where backgrounds and connections are everything,

Find a place where you can close the gap purely by self-improvement,

For me, that is already very luxurious.

2. Trading is the quickest practice for cognitive upgrade.

Only after doing trading did I truly understand:

The world is full of uncertainties,

The desire for control is a human instinct, but you must learn to let go,

Success = accepting mistakes + managing risks + continuously optimizing decisions.

These cognitions are useful not only in the market,

Extremely useful in life, work, and interpersonal relationships.

In other words,

Learning to trade means earning not just money, but also survival wisdom.

3. Trading gives me the opportunity to control my own destiny.

To be honest, most people’s lives are pushed along by external factors.

Boss's decisions, industry ups and downs, luck...

But in trading, even though you cannot control the market,

But you can control yourself.

When to strike, when to retreat,

How much risk to bear, what returns to expect,

What logic to use for decision-making, how to continuously iterate and optimize... all of these are decisions I can make myself.

Even if you lose money, you know that it was your own choice,

And not being taken advantage of or harmed by others.

This feeling of being responsible for oneself is very thrilling.

And it is very real.

Final words

Trading is not a 'shortcut to wealth',

It's not a 'fantasy of overnight riches',

It is a long and difficult road,

Is a battle of continuous confrontation with one's own humanity.

But precisely because it is difficult,

That’s why so few people win,

And it’s worth it.

And I want to be the one who can navigate the storms and reach the shore with a smile.

So, from today, officially hit the road.
