Historic! 🇵🇦 Panama City will accept tax payments in cryptocurrencies
The Panamanian capital becomes a pioneer in Latin America by allowing the payment of municipal taxes with crypto such as Bitcoin (₿) and other digital currencies.
The announcement was made by Mayor Mayer Mizrachi, who confirmed that the measure will be possible thanks to a partnership with Towerbank, which will convert the cryptos into dollars before reaching the government, thus avoiding market volatility.
