The National Bank of Belarus has announced the issuance of a national cryptocurrency called "Zubr," reports the agency "Minsk-News."

Its listing (that is, the procedure by which it is added to the list of exchange assets, after which users of exchanges will be able to buy and sell it) takes place on April 1. Initially, all interested Belarusians will be able to purchase the cryptocurrency.

According to the agency, the initial cost of "Zubr" is 14 rubles. A total of 50 billion "Zubrs" will be issued in circulation. It is expected that the new cryptocurrency will be presented on leading global exchanges in the future.
