Bybit CEO Ben Zhou stated that all withdrawals have been processed, the system is operating normally, and there are no delays. The total outflow of funds since the incident began has amounted to nearly $5 billion. Of this amount:
- Hackers — about $1.5 billion;
- Bybit itself (collateral for loans) — from $1.3 to $1.5 billion;
- Users — about $2 billion.
Likely, yesterday saw the largest single-day outflow from a cryptocurrency exchange in history. For comparison:
- Binance withdrew $7.3 billion in a week during insolvency rumors in 2022;
- The crash — $6 billion in 72 hours.
