Heather Morgan requests content removal

Rapper and social media figure Heather 'Razzlekhan' Morgan has sent a letter requesting #netflix that Library Films stop airing the documentary Biggest Heist Ever. This film reenacts the theft of billions of USD worth of Bitcoin from Bitfinex – a case in which Morgan is involved.

According to Morgan's legal team, the film violated the privacy of guests at her wedding to Ilya Lichtenstein by using images without consent. At the same time, the film is also accused of distorting the truth and making unfounded allegations about Morgan's role in the money laundering case.

Main allegations

In a letter to Netflix, attorney Serena Wu emphasized:

  1. Violation of privacy: The film used wedding footage without consent from the guests.

  2. Fabricating information: The film claims #Morgan that Lichtenstein purchased fake passports, bank cards, and fake documents on the dark web, but there is no evidence to support this.

  3. Defamation: The film implies that Morgan is the mastermind behind the theft, while court documents do not confirm this. Additionally, Morgan's father-in-law is also falsely accused of being a hacker.

Risk of litigation with Netflix

Morgan demands that Netflix immediately edit or remove the infringing images, warning that if they do not comply, she will file a lawsuit for damages.

Background of the Bitfinex case

The hack #Bitfinex in 2016 stole 120,000 BTC, now worth over 12 billion USD. Lichtenstein was sentenced to 5 years in prison for hacking the exchange, while Morgan received an 18-month sentence for helping her husband launder money.

Despite facing prison time starting February 4, Morgan continues her music career and recently released two new rap songs: Razzlekhan vs. The United States and Diplomat Pussy.
