🔴 US President Donald Trump is scheduled to deliver a remote speech on Thursday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland
⬅️ This will be his first time addressing world business and political leaders since his inauguration as president for a second term
◾️According to the forum's schedule, Trump is expected to deliver his speech at 11 a.m. ET (1600 GMT)
◾️Trump moved quickly after his inauguration to reduce immigration and increase domestic energy production, and threatened to impose tariffs on the European Union, China, Mexico and Canada
◾️Trump decided to withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization and the Paris climate agreement
◾️He also announced plans to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and threatened to reclaim the Panama Canal
◾️In a controversial move, he pardoned more than 1,500 of his supporters who attacked the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
